Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Spectacular...
Deffintely one of my most favourate books, i don't particulaly like Keith Gray's books but this was an exception!
Filled with querky text, a decent plot which compells the reader to read on - i'm impressed.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A Very Good Read
"The wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time"... John Malarkey, 16 years old, two weeks at a new school, mid-term, and his life seems to fall apart. With the threat of exclusion and worse hanging over him, he moves through the periphery of school life trying to work out the who, the why and most importantly for him the "why me?".

Set in the English school system and describing budding teenage gangsters, bullying, money making schemes and a teaching staff that has little time to listen and even less idea as to what is going on under their noses.

The characters, plot and descriptions are so well written and believable and most especially the narrative of John Malarkey as he spends 24 hours trying to clear himself ... Read More:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Wow!
Wow! This book was utterly amazing except for the fact that Keith Gray seemed to want to cram as many bad words in as possible. The plot was amazing though. Teenager John Mararkey enters his new school and is framed by a gang of teenagers perfectly ruthless and extremely cunning. He has twenty-four hours to prove his innocence and as he does so he finds out just how shocking the school is. Black mail, stealing and violence going on right under the teachers nose. Who is behind this huge master plan? Who runs the school? Certainly not the headmaster. Will he unravel the mystery in time? Read and find out...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Malarkey is Great...
This is one of my favourite books ever. It is about a 15 year old going to a new school, one with thousands of pupils, and suddenly finding that he is getting into trouble that's not his fault. He is being framed by what turns out to be a school mafia. He has to expose this organization to avoid being expelled from his school...

The reason this book is so goo is that it is realistic. The characters, the way they behave, the whole setup is somehow so convincing and gripping that you have to read on. This is one of those books that you will finish in one night because you can't sleep for wondering what will happen.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good Read
Malarkey is an exciting book that can grip right from start to finish. The book will certainly relate to teenagers as it gives them a large amount of what really goes on in a school, none of the nice Harry Potter stuff where the worst things you could do would be to call someone by a bad name. It deals with many matters that occur during normal teen's lives, bullying, teachers never believing your side of the story and other smaller issues. The idea of such a well organised gang as there is in Malarkey is a bit too far out of the ordinary to apply to real life, but the fact that the teachers are totally oblivious to what really goes on in the school is no surprise. Keith Gray's writing is all on suspense. Two highschool kids, one on his own (Malarkey) ... Read More:
