This is really good. Rob Bell has received some deep insights and revelations from God regarding marriage, relationships and Christ's relationship with us. A lot of the material is just souped up stuff that we've all heard before but there were many deep revelations for me. I didn't really like the style of writing as it's a bit trite but it is well worth reading and I'm sure people will gain much from Bell's Godly wisdom.

Fantastic book, After reading it, I immediately went and bought my son a copy. It's simple to read yet also thoughtful and deep. Definately reccomend it.

- An honest and thought provoking book about sexuality that gives a neat overview of Christian beliefs
Right from the introduction to Sex God, Rob Bell coins the phrase 'this is about that'.
It's his way of summing up his argument that sexuality is really about human longing to connect with something more significant then our everyday lives, something that will make sense of everything else, even for just a few minutes. Basically, sex is about God.
I'd like to apply this idea to the whole book, 'this' (the book) 'is really about that' (relationships, marrage, Christianity, churches, politics, heart break, singleness, life). Bell manages to cover an incredible amount of ground during what is a pretty short book. His writing is compassionate, enthusiastic, witty, thought provoking and inspiring.
