- AN 'OK' BOOK
This book has loads of recipies in it, however it is by an American author and some of the ingredients are not known over here. I'm sure there are alternatives to these ingredients..?
But there are some recipes that look pretty good to make and the ingredients are all readily available. I would have preferred to look for a book by a British author, but must have missed this here.....

Contrary to what the last reviewer says this is a great book and the fact that it is American is not really a problem.

If you look at the last page it has an easy to use converter for the Birtish and Australian markets. (Anyway, it is really easy to get cup and tbsp measures now in this country - most grocery stores as well as cookshops and Homebase have them very cheap.) Not only does it tell you what the equivalent British measure is it helpfully points out the difference in the names of a few ingredients in each country.

But there are very few ingredients that are different. Overall this book is chock-full of easy healthy recipes you can serve your family or guests.

Although this seemed like a good book--more than 400 recipes--they are unusual recipes. Some of them would be far easier (& quicker) using other methods of cooking/heating. The other major problem is that the ingredients are measured in American (I.e. use cups etc.) and that some ingredients are hard to find.
