This book goes through the business pages layout of The Times, including all the tables and figures, and provides an exceptionally clear layman's guide on how to understand it all. The same process can be applied to other newspapers (and web sites) as well. Read the business pages with this the help of this book, and you will gain a permanent increase in understanding. For somebody desperately trying to make head or tail of some of the obscurer parts of economics and the City this book is a revelation - it is a shining light.
