- Los Pepes Restaurant Corralejo
This restaurant is under new management & is not worthy of a mention in the AA Guide.
Under the previous owners it was excellent.
The current owner can not possibly call himself a chef.
The food we had was awful & the service was just as bad.
How this man has the nerve to advertise "Best Restaurant in Corralejo" as seen in AA World Travel (Beggars Belief) AA travel need to delete this entry now to save more customers an unfortunate experience.

- Great for Lanzarote
Unlike the previous reviewer I found this book extremely helpful. I went to Lanzarote and I didn't want anything as in depth as Lonely Planet, just something to point me in the right direction. We saw practically all the recommended attractions and were really pleased we did. And if you stick to the recommended restaurants then you can't fail to have a fabulous meal. The only time we tried somewhere not in the book we regretted it!

Having said this, I sympathise with the previous reviewer because the majority of the book was about Lanzarote. The info on Fuertaventura was minimal. However maybe this reflects the number of attractions on Lanzarote in comparison with Fuerta!!

This guide is ok for a quick reference, especially if you are going to Lanzarote!!! It gives you quick guides on the food, currency, local customs and a brief selection of information about each resort. But it is not Lonley Planets quality. You might ask well what do you expect for a £5? Well the 'essential guide' had minimal information about my resort in Fuerteventura (and about Fuerte in general), the one resturant it recommended didn't exsist as far as we were aware. Having travelled a bit and followed 'guides' that have been useful this wasn't. If I had my time again I would do a further search and look for a guide solely based on Fuerteventura. The good news is it didn't spoil our break, Fuerte is a wonderful island with plenty to explore ... Read More:
