Here we have everything we expect from a Reader's Digest book - 400 pages with 600 recipes and 1,100 photos. The first section of 36 pages covers all the things you need to know about cooking with microwaves. I also really liked the "colour index" which is 71 pages of photos of all the different types of dishes proposed in the rest of the book, this allows you to pick out quickly the options and possibilities on offer. The rest of the book goes through each food category in a more or less classical way, from soups, through meat, to cakes. It is easy to read, easy to use, and its real power is the 100's of really useful photos that do not just present finished dishes, but explain exactly how to manipulate the food items and make and mix them ... Thsi book has provided us with dozens of great recipes, presented in an easy-to-read and complete form. Full marks to this book and hope for to come!
