- All you need to know about Padre Pio
This book details the Padre's life in an excellent manner. I found this book very interesting, the detail presented portrays the environment in which Padre Pio lived helping the reader appreciate even more his life. It also contains some rare photos of Padre Pio when still a young man and important quotations from letters and documents connected with Padre Pio.

Rating:

This book will be an asset to Protestant as well as Catholic scholars. It will also be an inspiration to all Christian seekers. Padre Pio is a lovable saint, and the book is well written. Source notes are a plus for a book about a mystic.

Ruffin provides an indepth and detail look into the life of Padre Pio. He not only describes the Padre's life but the Capuchin order, Italian society, and the Catholic Church in the early 1900s. He ties it all together to help you better understand what Padre Pio was like as a human being and Friar.I have read several books on Padre Pio. This one is by far the best.
