Despite one of the other reviews I found this book extremely easy to get into. Yes, I haven't finished it yet after getting it shortly after its release but this is down to taking it slow, savouring the messages and following the exercises.

What will this book do for you? No idea. Thats up to you. For me its been a transforming experience from the first time I picked it up, its almost been like a warm hug through some very difficult weeks. It arrived in my life as a two year relationship was breaking down and my job had become unbearable. He changed my perspective on life and kept me cheerful when I could have been weaping down the phone to all and sundry.

The only book you will ever need to read in order to unravel the illusion of being a victim. This book will empower you, by revealing that the only person blocking you-is you...but you knew that really. Barefoot is pure love; compassionate, honest,challenging,enormously respectful of the reader. I am carrying this book around with me and letting the nectar within infiltrate my bones.

I'll declare my hand and say I'm a big fan of Barefoot. I have most of the books, the music CD, and both DVDs. On the whole this book is probably the least accessible - which isn't necessarily the book's fault, or Barefoot's. And in fairness, Barefoot states plainly that this book is not a light read, and not for lazy minds. All his usual ideas and techniques are here - on my first reading I'm not sure I identified anything genuinely new - but they don't seem to be presented with the usual clarity. It's an almost stilted delivery - lots of short sentences - and the chapters / topics are for the most part less than 3 pages long.
