- It's working for me
I bought this CD along with the book 'Say Goodnight to Insomnia : The 6 week drug free program' written by Gregg Jacobs.

Firstly, I must say that this CD is working for me. I have only been using it for 1 week but already I am starting to fall asleep quicker (usually before the end of the main sleep inducing track) and staying asleep for longer periods of time. In fact, I have only ever once still been awake by the end of the main track!

The CD contains 2 tracks. Track 1 is basic information about sleep patterns and 6 golden rules which you must obey to improve your sleep. Track 2 is the real gem and contains Paul McKenna talking you down into a trance like state, ready for deep sleep. Nothing magic here, just plain ... Read More:

- Just Great. It works.
First and foremost the thing you need to know is that this tape/cd really does work. Paul McKenna knows what he is doing. As a life long insomniac (with atrocious sleep patterns due to ill health) I could count on one hand the number of nights where I: 1)got to sleep quickly 2)stayed asleep without waking up more than very lightly 3)slept 7 or 8 hours 4)the sleep was of reasonable quality. Since listening to this tape every day for two weeks this wonderful pattern of sleep has become the norm. I used to fear going to bed (hours of miserable tossing and turning and worrying - if you're reading this review then I'm sure you're familiar with all the miseries of being unable to sleep). - Worked for me....
After I had been nursing a sick relative for some time, I developed the habit of sleeping lighter. Any small noise would wake me up, I generally only managed to sleep for up to an hour at a time and woke up continously throughout the night.

This had been the case for over 4 years, until I bought Paul's CD and used it every night for one month. At the end of that month my sleeping habits had reverted, and sleepless nights became very much the exception to the rule.
