More than a coffee table book. I bought it for my sister for Christmas, and once opened, I had to buy my own copy! Beautiful photos and maps, with easy to read, detailed information on food and wine in the different regions of France.

Different oils, vinegars, cuts of meat, premier cru, deuxieme cru, herbs, culture, photos, maps.

If you like France or you like food this book is great. If you like both - it rocks.
