This was kind of a concept album for Gloria, an entire CD full of the great songs both she, and we, grew up listening to. It is wonderfully done, retaining the feel of the origionals while adding great instrumental productions to each song. Gloria's voice has never sounded better and her respect for them and what they meant to her comes across loud and crystal clear.

Her cover of Carol King's "It's Too Late" is so good you hate it when it's over. Fortunately there are a lot of good songs here, "Everlasting Love" is a particular highlight. Even the old Blood Sweat and Tears song "You Made Me So Very Happy" is included and given Gloria's always emotional delivery.

I love this album, it's got such a variety of tempos.

1) Hold me thrill me kiss me - To be honest, this is one of the reasons why I bought the album. It's a brill 'sing a long' song.

2) How can I be sure - A slow song but very catchy.

3) Everlasting love - I love this song, it perks you up and gets you grooving.

4) Traces - A lovey dovey song and I really like this one.

5) Don't let the sun catch you crying - Another slow song, not one of my favouites but listenable.

6) You've made me so very happy - Strange song but I like it.

7) Turn the beat around - Really good song, it reminds me of party on a warm summers night.
