Yet again here is another compilation of the timeless Victoria Wood's excellent tv series. Some of the sketches may be a little samey (especially the 'Supermarket Checkout scene). But they are still hilariously funny. I recommend it!

Okay, sorry to be the stick in the mud here but this video is very disappointing indeed. The 'comedy' has aged about as well as a loaf of mouldy bread. It's just not funny. Some very basic observational comedy sketches and a few clapped-out 'comedy' songs is not the kind of thing that makes people laugh anymore. I can remember only three amusing sketches from both the included episodes and two were Acorn Antiques ones, for which there is a separate video you can buy (which I recommend). But sorry, comedy has moved on now and this is just dull.

A wonderful compilation of the very best of the simply brilliant Victoria Wood's award-winning series. All the favourite characters are there including the great Patricia Routledge as Kitty. You'll be treated to the hilariously blank expressions of the superb Susie blake as the prim and proper continuity announcer as she introduces us to the amazing Celia Imrie, Julie Walters and Duncan Preston in Acorn Antiques. Some brilliant, unforgettable sketches with hilarious performances by Victoria Wood and friends - DEFINATELY worth buying!!!

Victoria Wood, never fails to surprise me. Her ability to create comedy classics is faultless. This video, which includes clips from her award winning television show "as seen on Tv" is her best yet.
