Editorial Review:

Amazon.co.uk Review:
The date movie of the late 1980s, this had everyone arguing in the aisles. Does Michael Douglas deserve the unwanted attention he and his family are receiving at the hands of loony stalker Glenn Close? After a weekend extramarital affair with colleague Close, he returns home to wife Anne Archer, and Close becomes progressively angrier. You might even say she is boiling bunny mad. Directed by Adrian Lyne, this is not your average thriller, as it garnered six Academy Award nominations. The plot is too obvious, but the dialogue rings true and the intense performances hold the story together. Anne Archer deserves kudos for sidestepping cliché as the strong but frightened wife, and Close is a scream as she chews up the scenery. --Rochelle O'Gorman, Amazon.com

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Classic Adrian Lyne movie
A white-knuckled "don't-let-this-happen-to-you" thriller that vividly demonstrates what can happen to a guy when he lets other parts of his anatomy do his thinking for him.
Manhattan lawyer Dan Gallagher (Douglas) has it all: successful career, attractive wife, loving daughter. So why not have an extramarital fling with a woman he met at a party while the family is out of town? Sure. Just a one-night stand. No harm, no foul. But there's something very "foul" about Dan's partner in crime, because blonde Alex Forrest (Glenn Close) may have all the right moves in the sack, but she also has an elevator that doesn't go all the way to the top. So when Dan wants to shake hands and part company, Alex will have none of it, and the table is set ... Read More:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great movie well supported with extras
Great movie, of course, and the DVD extras are pretty interesting. If you already have the movie in another format then it is worth getting simply for the rehearsal footage of Glenn.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A must see
Fatal Attraction is a must see for all romance-psycho movie lovers. Glenn Close and Michael Douglas' combination in this movie but the suspence of the story line makes this a must see. I have seen this movie more than 10 times and counting. Shame that there aren't many movies like this made anymore. I am a big fan of Michael Douglas and have seen all his movies. This is by far the most enjoyable from his others movies. Get this if you are thinking of cheating on your wife as well. LOL. Just a suggestion.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Gripping and thought provoking
This film had me right from the start, it's glitsy eighties look provides an excellent backdrop for a truly terrifying story. Glenn Close can only be described as brilliant, and Michael Douglas plays a perfectly likeable/dislikeable (I'm not sure!) co-star. At points during the film I was practically jumping up and down screaming "Get her!", but at others I was more "Aww, just leave her alone..." Anyway, it is definitley the best thriller I have ever seen, I can strongly recommend it.
