Editorial Review:

Amazon.co.uk Review:
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, set in the interval between The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, is a first-person adventure which lets you step into the role of the galaxy's most heavily armed bounty hunter, Jango Fett, as you track a renegade Jedi across the galaxy, collecting information (and bounties) along the way.

In addition to Jango's trademark dual blaster pistols, your armour bristles with gadgets and weaponry: darts, flamethrower, blowtorch, scanner, cable snare and--of course--a missile-launching jetpack. Utilise this arsenal to battle hordes of uncooperative guards, fend off rival bounty hunters, scale precipitous skyscrapers, and capture fugitives--dead or alive. The basic controls are surprisingly easy to master, and you've got enough armament at your disposal to fight your way out of almost any situation. Still, some finesse is required: as fun as it is to walk into a room and blast everything in sight (and it is fun--especially when you're the one wearing the jetpack), you may discover when the smoke clears that the guy you just fried was worth twice as much alive. Oh well...

The complex storyline is unravelled with extended cut scenes that let you rest your thumbs while Jango follows up the next lead (Star Wars fans will appreciate the quality and detail of these scenes, as well as the fidelity of the story arc--namely how Jango is chosen as the model for the clone troopers in Episode II). And anyone familiar with the LucasArts suite of games will not be disappointed by the superior graphics, music, sound effects and fully realised characters and locations. The pace of the game is up to you: methodically seek out the secrets of each level, or ruthlessly blast your way to the big payoff. --Maile Bohlmann

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - jango fett, this your game!!!!
The bounty hunter, jango fett, appeared only in star wars episode 2. Unfortunatly, he was shamefully beheaded in the movie by Mace windu and lived one of the movie buisesisses shortest main character life spans, lasting a mear 42 minutes from introduction, to death. But his appearence left a lasting mark in star wars fans and also created a link between him and boba fett, his son who appeared in the earlier star wars films. But what did this devious bounty hunter get up to in his spare time and just how ruthless was he? Star Wars Bounty Hunter tell you just that.

You play Jango, (Duhh)a ruthless and fearless bounty hunter in the job for just one thing... the money of course!! But one fatefull day however would change his ... Read More:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Above all, its a star wars game
Ok I can admit it - I am a star wars geek. Maybe not to the bi-monthly-science-fiction-convention (BI-MON-SCI-FI-CON) depth, but a middle of the road 'I went to Leicester square to see them when they were released'' (note NOT in fancy dress) fan. I loved the original trilogy and will even say on public record that yes I even loved the new trilogy. So gaming titles from the star wars range, expanding that ever-expanding universe greatly appeal. Playing characters as cool as Jango Fett, well we have a game which is to search for an appropriate term... 'Gravy’. I eagerly await a title that compromises Mace Windu, Han Solo and Darth Maul. It could happen.

On to the game in question. I am not sure how far my rose tinted star wars spectacles ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Very Underrated Game
It's surprising the low key release this game had, because it is excellent and much better than the awful Starfighter and Clone Wars games. The graphics still look very good, obviously not up to the same standard as the latest games, but still they have aged well and certainly do not take away from the experience. As usual from Lucasarts the sound in the game is flawless, terrific John Williams score and kosher original Star Wars SFX from Skywalker Sound itself. But it's the gameplay where this game excels, giving surprising and great freedom with the jetpack, which you receive with and stick with very quickly, this isnt a game which is hard on its audience; it give unlimited ammo on the blaster pistols and generously gives ammo for everything else ... Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Best star wars game i've played
I am a great star wars fan and have ,as everyone has been, embarresed to be a fan when you see what lucas arts is producing. However i got this game on recomendation of a freind and found it thoroughly enjoyable. Some odd and anoying things (Enemies that don't die when you set them on fire!?) Stopped this game reaching the five stars but still this is the best game from lucas arts for a VERY long time. Good graphics and an exciting plot give the game pace and action while keeping it from the herds of 'if it moves shoot it' games out there. Great range of weapons to kill you're enemies with (including a flame thrower, yes people burn!) and a great range of enemies to test those weapons on! Even some wierd 12 foot long cat thing!

Very enjoyable ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great fun, especially for Star Wars fans (like me)!
THE STORY:
A mysterious man named Tyranus hires several bounty hunters, including Jango Fett and his nemesis Montross, to kill Komari Vosa, the insane leader of an insidious cult. As Jango, you must follow leads from planet to planet in search of the Bando Gora cult, all the while keeping your helmet scanner tuned to any other bounties along the way. The game takes you to Outland Station, the skyscrapers of Coruscant, the prisons of Oovo IV, the jungles of Malastare, the deserts of Tatooine and the graveyards of one of the moons of Bogden.

WHAT'S GOOD:
This game is all about having fun. It's no in-depth thriller and for that I'm grateful. Too many games these days sacrifice sheer fun and replace it with a deep and meaningful plot, ... Read More:
