- Not Another Useless Rap Complilation...
From hearing this played around me so much I often feel that death would be a better punishment. Stupid rappers yelling rubbish isn't my thing quite frankly. Music like this is responsible for all these wannabe rappers that plague the streets these days. What has music become these days? All "popular" music recently is full of people who cant sing, write senseless lyrics and "songs" made up of thud after thud after thud. Anyone thinking of buying this should sell all of their CDs and use the money to get some A grade rock albums in their collection. Throw out your Westwoods and buy some Rage Against The Machine to really know what good rapping is! (And good music, lyrics and talent for that matter)

i have all of westwoods albums and love them but with this new album i notice that theres literally as much reggae as there is hip hop, westwoods show is called "the rap show" not "the reggae show" stick to rap please tim and leave the reggae to goldfinger

Westwood the Platinum album is the first album from Tim Westwood i bought. i think it is absolutely brilliant! it has all my favourite artists n songs on! im currently thinking of buying the other 2 albums and i hope they are as good...but looking at the comments...i dont think i need to hope! the album has artists such as Elephant Man, FatMan Scoop, Lumidee, 50cent and lots of others. definately worth buying.

I was really looking forward to this CD but within a couple of tracks was sick of someone "upping" Westwood every few seconds. I wanted to listen to the music, not other people telling him how fab he was. There are some really fantastic tracks on here, including some new ones right up there with old classics like "Made You Look" and "Wanna Jump" but I was so put off by Westwood being mentioned constantly that it ruined the album for me. Shame... but maybe I'm too much of a purist!

The name speaks for itself. True hip hop. Westwood continues to bring out fab beats including some of the best rappers around such as- Eminem, 50 cent, Nate dogg, Nas, and DMX. But he also introduces us to unknown stars like Fatman Scoop, Crooklyn clan, and Peedi Crakk who are all brilliant. This is a great combination, and will apppeal to alll hip hop/rap fans.
