I have been line dancing for a few years so was intrigued by the cover of this DVD as it challenges the misconceptions that line dancing is all about cowboys and country and western. Yes, there is country and western but Lynne makes it look cool, and there is also contemporary, which gives line dancing a modern edge. Lynne's style is encouraging and you feel she is talking just to you. Her teaching is excellent in its clarity; steps are taught in short blocks that are graduallly put together to create the main frame of the dance, which makes it easier to learn from. I enjoyed the different sorts of music and the energy created by the dancers. Very well thought out and a true reflection of line dancing today.

I am from France and speak some English but the teacher was so clear and easy to copy that I do all the dances. I am so excited with the music too. I am taking DVD to my class and give to my teacher and hope she will do the dances. It makes me very happy to use.

This is so good. I am a beginner and could follow it easily. It was taken in small groups of steps with very clear explanation. It is graduated with 11 dances of different levels.
It also has a section where she explains each step, by name, that will be used in dances.
She also discusses etiquette and dress for those wanting to try it out at a public line dance. For me though, this is REALLY fun and good exercies and I love doing it at home just for fitness.
At her suggestion I use my own (rock type) music with similar rhythm patterns and just get lost in my own music as I practice and enjoy the dances.

I have learnt 4 of the dances and plan to learn more. The instruction was excellent (although I did have to use the rewind button several times) and the music hugely enjoyable - very diverse and not what you would normally find on an instructional DVD. Now I need to find a social and put into practise what I learnt. Very good.

I've line danced for years and was intrigued to see if I could learn a couple of dances I'd never done before from Lynne on this DVD. She was a breath of fresh air in the way she broke the steps down and the dancing was a real mix of whats out there today.

My head was spinning with excitement - this DVD shows line dance in such great light and with real style. GREAT!!
