Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent 4-port hub
I use this USB2 4-port hub with 4 external drives with no problem. Very easy to connect and recognisable under Windows XP. I have ordered another one recently to increase my external data storage.

The fast delivery is the only good thing I can say about this product and the company. The hub crashed if more than two things plugged into it, and even with just two it frequently dropped it's connection. I checked my pc and it was ok so the fault was with the goods. I emailed them stating the problem and asked what their policy was. Their policy it seems is to totally ignore any complaints and do nothing.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BECAUSE IF ANYTHING IS WRONG WITH IT (AS SEEMS LIKELY) THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T CARE.


Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not nearly as bad as everybody is saying
Maybe I've just been lucky but I haven't experienced any of the problems that have been reported here. So far I've only used it to connect one thing - a usb 2.0 external hard drive - and it works fine.

It doesn't come with a separate power supply, but it doesn't need one as it runs of the power of your computer.

The only small complaint is that it's got a pretty small lead. Hasn't been a problem for me, but could be depending on your setup. Otherwise it does everything you would want it to.

If you need more USB ports on your computer it is either really good, or really bad.
If you need to power more USB 1.1 devices, then buy this. If you need to power more USB 2.0 devices, DONT. It wont work. at the end of the day do you need 1.1 or 2.0?

I have one of these working away as I write. It is fine and outlived a couple of dearer hubs I bought in the past.
