Although in the first week of the Nintendo DS’s launch in Japan Mario 64 DS emerged as the most popular launch title, in the weeks that followed it was actually Wario Ware: Touched! which overtook it in terms of sales and popular support. It certainly makes more obvious good use of the DS’s unique features, with more than 200 new mini-games all of which make bizarre use of the touch screen and microphone. For those not familiar with the original GBA version, Wario Ware features a huge collection of extremely strange mini-games, the majority of which last for no more than 5 seconds.

These are played in rapid succession so that you literally never know what is coming next. One minute you're cooling down a cup of tea by blowing on the microphone, the next you’re chopping up flying fruit by wielding your stylus as a sword. Unrolling toilet paper, striking matches and blowing toy yachts across the screen may not sound like much written down, but when they’re all thrown at you at such a dizzying pace the desire to see what nonsense the game will come up with next is infectious.

Wario Ware: Touched is both inventive, often uproariously funny and thanks to the mix of equally strange art styles one of the most relentlessly odd games ever made. More importantly than this it’s also one of the most fun, and an absolute must-have for any DS owner. --David Jenkins

I got my DS lite for christmas and I also got this game. I couldnt put it down I was playing it into the night!
There are over 200 minigames to play each only a few seconds long.
The game is quite easy to begin with but towards the end it gets faster and more difficult
I really reccomend this game to anyone with a Nintendo DS

I love this game, I bought it last week and I can't stop playing it.
I've got the smooth moves version for the wii and that is what made me want to get this one and I definitely wasn't disappointed as it is crazy like the other one and uses all parts of the DS.

Ok so we have Wario on the Wii now and it is a great game! but long before that, there was Wario on the DS! and it is just as good! a great game to wear your stylus out on!. Just the usual mad mini games (nose picking anyone!) where you have 3 seconds to figure out what to do. I especially liked the toilet roll one where you had to unroll it!. Just bags of fun and anyone can have a go!

What a fantastic game! Just suspend all normality for a while and get ready for some quickfire action with mental graphics and lots of crazy characters! It is, as you would expect, complete insanity but addictive, mind-bending fun at the same time, using the DS's stylus to the extreme! It could get a little monotonous eventually but don't let that put you off because the combinations of games and characters is seemingly neverending! I'd say it was worth every penny simply to experience the madness!

I've had this game for over two years and I still believe it to be as brilliant as the day I got it.
The game consists of many characters each with their own mini games. Once you gain a high score on each of these characters you are awarded with a 'toy' such as a ping-pong game or calculator etc.
The mini games are brilliant and make full use of the DS's functions. I think it could be played by people of all ages and enjoyed by all. I really have no complaints.
