Amazon.co.uk Review - Wii Sports:
In a nutshell:
As if the idea of five games in one package didn't sound a good enough deal on its own the Wii's best multiplayer compendium comes free with the console.

The lowdown:
Clearly realising that they need to provide some quick and obvious reasons why the Wii Remote is such a good idea Nintendo have packed in this compilation with the console, which includes simple versions of tennis, golf, baseball, bowling and boxing. The four player tennis game is the obvious stand out as you swing the Remote exactly as you would a real tennis racket, with the game seeming to almost magically interpret your movements into the game. All the other games work in a similar way, as you hold the Remote like a golf club or ready it like a baseball bat - you can even use it to gently roll bowling bowls and add some subtle aftertouch. The graphics make be purposefully basic but these are the games to instantly prove why the Wii is going to be such a revolution.

Most exciting moment:
While even Wii Tennis can be played with very minor movements of the Wii Remote the boxing game actively encourages you to act things out properly. You hold up both the Remote and the nunchuck to simulate your two hands and then duck and weave as you switch between trying to pummel your opponent and dodging or blocking their own attacks.

Since you ask:
You can use your own customised Mii Channel character in any of the games for that personal touch. The idea was originally just a joke featuring caricatures of Nintendo's top brass for a press conference, but it proved so popular that Nintendo ensured anyone could make their own character to play with.

The bottom line:
Five of the best games on the Wii and they all come free with the console!-HARRISON DENT

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not terrible...
Ok, first of all, i will try and deter the wii fanboys here from dismissing my review as 'bias'. I have owned a nintendo wii since launch day and have always liked nintendo's products. However although i was pleased with the wii for a small amount of time, for months now it has been gathering dust under my tv.

First the games. Nintendo does it everytime. The exclusives are very hyped and some of them rightly so. I thoroughly enjoyed Zelda until the wolf levels bored me and Mario Kart wii is always fun with friends. Metroid is good because of the controls but lack of variation lets it down as the weapons and enemies become repetitive. Then probably the wii game with the most amount of hype, Super smash bros brawl. I only just got ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - It's got Soul and something else, gameplay in abundance
I own a PS3 and have owned an XBox 360 and also a Wii when it first came out. I sold it back then and sitting next to the Xbox 360 at the time the graphics weren't that great in comparasion, the games out where fairly poor and the sports sim was well a demo which fast became boring.

Last weekend I played Wii Fit, loved it and decided that perhaps being the graphics and state of the art whore that I am maybe my 2 days with the Wii prior to selling were misjudged. Needless to say Mario and Sonic Olympics, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart and WiiFit later Im hooked.

Yes it isn't in the HD leagues of Xbox 360 or PS3, yes it can't pay DVD's or CD's, yes the control method is a bit gimmacky, yes it's not Blu Ray, the list goes ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - JUST EXCELLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENT!
I got this over 1 year ago now and it is just EXCELLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENT! Includes one of my favourite games, Wii Sports, with the Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf and Boxing.

In two words: BUY TODAY

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Must buy console for anyone.
If i want to play call of duty 3 - i will buy it on xbox 360. if i want to play need for speed, il play it on ps3. but any other game i see - its fit for Wii!

wii sports il start with..

fantastic fun! fiver great games that me and my family enjoy playing together. but if your not a family then its just as fun on your own (almost).
eventually you will get bord of it which is not that bad when you think it came with the console and its just the same thing over but a tad difficult each time. overall - Brilliant.

Games

i feel most games are brilliant. yes, the graphics arent the best but if you buy the right games - your fine.

if your a rock god - guitar hero 3. great game, though ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - much better than expected.
When the Wii first came out i wasn't remotely intrested. then at chritsmas everyone i knew was going mental because they really wanted one and couldnt find them anywhere and i was thinking "what's the big deal?" then a couple of months ago the Wii Fit came out and my mum decided she wanted one, so she went out and bought a Nintendo Wii with the Sports game but the Wii Fit was out of stock. I still wasnt intrested, then she set it up and startd bowling, and she asked me if i wanted a go, so intrigue got the better of me, i stood in position (feeling like an idiot) and threw my ball without much effort, and missed all my pins. so i realised i needed to put effort into it, and when i started going, i couldnt stop! the determination to get more strikes ...
