- Pretty Darned Good
I bought my Nano quite a while ago now, I'd say... 2 years? And it's still going strong. Easy to use menus, decent battery life and sound quality, and the equalizer settings actually make quite a bit of difference. Obviously mine's now looking rather battered, but despite having been dropped, clattered around loosely in my handbag and used pretty much day in day out it still works just as well as it did the day I got it.
The best thing I would say about this MP3 player is the drag and drop method of updating the files on it. I've had experience with other brands, I-pod being the main one and have found the additional software cumbersome and to be honest, really irritating, in comparison.

Lot's of people complaining about build quality etc. Look after your Nano, get a little soft case for it or something - what do you expect for the money - diecast aluminium? I've had no problems. More importantly, what other player can actually encode to MP3 from the built-in FM radio - how amazing is that?!? Record your favourite radio show whilst you're out. It even has a line-in facility. Sound quality good and handles CBR & ABR MP3's, haven't tried VBR but I expect it'd be OK. Holds *a lot* of music at 137k ABR, which is the lowest I can go before my ears aren't fooled anymore... -great battery life
-good sound quality
-easy to use
-lots of different play modes
-good shuffle selection
-reliable
-robust

=Bad=
-battery cover comes of easily
-you have to flick through all th songs to find the one you want
-It holds about 300 songs which for my variety of music is a bit small

I got this product for Christmas and it has been very reliable. The only slight problem I had was the battery cover was quite flimsy and came off but his doesn't effect the player.

I have 3 Nano Pluses - my son and daughter have black and white ones respectively bought last Xmas, I have a white one bought in March. Whilst it is a great little unit for storing and playing music, the build quality, as others have stated is crap. Both white units now have broken battery cases - a very common problem it seems - and whilst, not affecting playing of unit, I have tried to get replacements from Creative as both units under Warranty (as others have successfully done it seems). Creative customer service is awful, no phone number, only email support - and I have been told this unit is obsolete, therefore no spares available. Creative offered me discount on another mp3, but I wouldn't touch their products again, with such poor build quality ... Read More:

- Brilliant little player
When I was buying this player I was specifically looking for a small lightweight player for running and the gym. I have a 30Gb ipod which i like but not nearly as much as my little creative nano.

Pro 1: Takes AAA batteries.
This is something I really like. I often go travelling or hiking out on the mountains and generally don't want to take a laptop with me simply so i can use my music player. The ipod definitely stays at home on these occasions. The battery life on mine has been amazing. When I'm using it for running / gym i guess i have it for about 3 hours a week. On this sort of usage I only need a battery a month.
