Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - 95 minutes I'm never going to get back!!
Oooooh, now where do I start?? Firstly, it's a terrible quality DVD - looks like it's been copied over badly from a dusty VHS tape in the back room of the local Oxfam.

Next, onto the film itself (rubs hands together), I actually thought it got a bit better once a modicum of plot got going. The start was pitiful, just excuses to show naked 'schoolgirls' cavorting - I'm sure boarding school girls don't have mass lesbian romps on the beach anywhere! Anyway, yes although they're all nearer 30 in this, the implication that we're supposesd to 'enjoy' naked schoolgirls is a little disturbing.

I'm not actually sure how writer of this pap thought this is how the world works which bored me somewhat. Men are all misogynists, women ... Read More:

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not bad from Hamilton
A reasonably decent effort from Hamilton. Certainly a lot better than Laura though it does drag towards the end.

The first hour deals with the adolescent Bilitis as she tries to make sense of her emerging sexuality. She is attracted to one of her schoolmates, photographer Lucas and the unhappily married older woman she is staying with, Melissa.
Patti D'Arbanville, well into her twenties, does well in the title role, showing the teenage angst without coming across too much as a moany youngster.

The last 30 minutes drags lot as Bilitis decides to find a man for Melissa, who has told her there is no future for their relationship.

Hamilton throws in his usual schoolgirls skinny dipping/showering scene. Gratuitous? ... Read More:

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Wonderful movie, very bad quality DVD
I'm really disappointed by the quality of this DVD: is worst than my old VHS tape. It's a pity because the movie is wonderful and it impossible to appreciate David Hamilton's photography. It's seems that my old uncle with its trembling hands pointed its old videocamcorder toward its low quality TV screen to create this DVD. I'm waiting for a new version!!!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Distracting
I have seen much of David Hamilton's photography in the past, and it's hard to realise just how long ago in the past it was.
I am not sure when this film was made, but either it was deliberately shot in slightly soft-focus, or else film processing has improved over the years.
What really distracted me was the appearance of Patti D'Arbanville. She is not as good looking as many of the young girls in the film, and to me she looked older than the character she was portraying. This I found very off-putting.
There was a great deal of promise in some of the scenes, but no fulfilment.
I found the music to be good at first, but after a while, it became repetitive.
I should have rented this DVD rather than bought it.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This film is awful!
In his books David Hamilton delivers a slightly disturbing (albeit it not entirely unfascinating) mix of softfocus underage nudity and soft focus landscapes. All very 70's and today looks very dated. He also made a number of films, I have only seen this one, and I will not be watching any more.

The story in this film is completely irrelevant nonsence. The acting stinks, but not in a kitsch way that might make it funny...like say, Russ Meyer. No, this film takes itself veeery seriously, and as it has nothing to offer, it becomes almost unbearable to watch.

Well, how about the underage nudity??? Sure, a few glimpses of schoolgirls bathing and the 'love story' between the two female protagonists results in them getting naked, but it's ... Read More:
