Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Long lasting
The Creative Zen Vision:M was my second Zen product, and I'm very pleased with it. Though it's sadly started to pack up already, I'd have had it for near enough 4 years next month, and only recently started to have trouble with it.
The video playback is excellent, and very high quality, as are the songs.
The software it comes with is simple and easy to use, even if you've never used similar software before.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pretty awesome, but has some reliability issues.
Firsty, I would like to say that the Zen Vision:M is a joy to use, with easy navigation between albums, and crystal-clear video playback. It possesses many intuitive and inspired features that just round it off into an awesome little package.

For example, the 'artist lookup' feature is excellent: Listening on random and come across an artist you haven't heard in a while? Fancy listening to a specific track by them, or a whole album? Just hit the lookup option in one of the submenus and it'll take you straight to the artist in question. Genius.

Another beautiful feature is the customisable shortcut button (the one on the top left) - You can set this button to do any number of different functions, from adding a library ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Amazing piece of kit
Even though the Vision:M is quite old, you really couldn't ask anything more from a 20-40Gb media player. It's probably the last mp3 player in this capacity that will use a hard disk as storage.

The sound quality is excellent, the screen is sharp, battery life realistically around 10 hours and the latest firmware makes it very stable. It supports wma files as well. Of course, you can get players that are lighter and thinner nowadays, but I was very happy when I found one of these refurbished and practically new for £80.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Well I LOVE IT!!!
I'm not some techno geek, who has to keep changing to the latest gadgets, just someone with a variety of musical tastes who loves to have all music at her fingertips immediately.
Again bought, purely because it isn't an IPOD, I have had it 2 years and it's great!
I take it on holiday, with small speakers for the balcony, and headphones for the beach, I play it for a hour commute each way, each day, use it as my main music source round the house.
Battery life is really good, it's flown me to Australia (as it were).

I love it being on random, it brings up some classic song I had forgotten was on there! Nearly full now, and I am just so sad they don't make the 60gb any more, as I would buy it in a heartbeat! So, rather ... Read More:

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Lack of organisation by folder is disappointing
In most respects this is a good player but it contuinally bugs me that unless ID tags are perfect for every album then it is impossible simply to switch it on, go to an album and listen to it. For really popular albums online databases ensure that if you rip a CD then it will transfer correctly to the player; for everything else (including audiobooks, which I mainly use the player for), the process is hit and miss.

This often comes up on FAQ's and the solution always given is to create a playlist. Here's a better one - take the folder organistation system that's on the Zen Media Explorer program and use it as the basis for organising the files on the player. That way even if the tags on a 10CD audiobook aren't entirely uniform, it will ... Read More:
