- Bloody Brilliant
Ever since I first heard the Zero DB remix of Samba de Gringo (a stunning piece of brazilian electronica) on Suba's Tributo album, I've eagerly anticipated subjecting my eardrums to an album length assault from Zero Db.

This album very much does what it says on the label, a veritable collision of sounds and styles driven by largely uncompromising basslines. If you're into full-on trancy trip/hop interlaced with brazilian percussion and rhythms and jazzy riffs, this is very much for you. It's not difficult to imagine the title track sending people into delirium across the nation's dancefloors (assuming deserved exposure of course), but this is by no means the only standout track.

- Catch it while you can
Don't know how Ninja Tune do it, but they keep finding some great talent. I bought this album blind after reading a rave review in DJ Magazine. When you buy blind, there is always a chance you are going to be bitterly dissapointed, but the reviewer was pretty much right on the money with this one.

Zero Db manage to keep a lot of plates spinning at once: Latin, Hard Jazz, Hip Hop, House, Lounge, many tunes being held together with some of the dirtiest, grungy, high octane bass lines imaginable.

- Stellar debut !!!

Since getting hold of their remix album, Reconstructions, I have been waiting for the boys to release some original work, and since hearing of this release roughly six months ago have been waiting with baited breath...and it was definitely worth it...damn, this album is a terrific beat-fest taking inspiration from jazz and latin grooves, reinterpretating them like no others producers can!!!

Zero Db are one of the most qualitive production teams you will ever hear, and the quality, and time taken to realise this album, are just simply dripping from the speakers!!! They clearly put their years of dj experience to work on this, resulting in an album rich in beats, rich vocals, twisting from floor-grinding tracks to lush wind-down ... Read More:
