For under a tenner these budget speakers are great. My old Dell ones killed themselves and also had a subwoofer with wires everywhere just complicating things.

These are cheap, easy to use and produce a decent sound quality. Dont expect them to fill the room - they're great for small office use around your desk. Just plug in and play. No volume controls on actual speakers but windows volume control does a good enough job.

Despite these speakers being Computer Shopper best budget buy speakers I was disappointed. The volume did not go very high - this was probably due to the fcat the speakers were powered through the usb port without a separate power supply. Also I did not think the sound quality was that good. Perhaps I was expecting too much for budget speakers.

No power cables and very light weight..

only draw back no controls on the speaker it self..
