- Only lasted for one year... if that
After buying one of the "GlowRing X2" metal-ended versions from a popular tactical site, I thought that these Nite Glow keyrings looked more slimline and trendy. I keep my work keys on my blue "GlowRing X2", and my house keys on this Nite Glow. The latter packed up in less than a year!!! The former is still glowing strong after more than 2 years!!! I wouldn't recommend these at all. You can pay less than this for the GlowRing X2 product that glows for a lot longer.

My blue glowring has stopped glowing only after one year, so far short of the ten years you are led to believe in the description. There's no damage or marking to the casing, so no obvious reason why it should give up so quickly. When it worked, I found it useful to mark my bag in darkened rooms, but the glow is relatively faint, so the room needs to be very dark (so dark you won't see the bag!) before it comes into use. I intended to get another to stick on my car keys (which I tend to drop in the dark a lot), but based on the unreliability of this one, I won't be bothering.
