Such a step for someone who wants to be at the top so bad. And now she is!
It's such a good song with a simple tune that will get stuck in your head for ages!!! If your a dancer this is a execllent song for you!
I am a belly dancer myself and it really inspired me, and my spanish teacher, who wants to see the, 'Shakira hip thingy' almost every day now.

I wasn't going to buy Shakira's new album 'Oral Fixation' as I thought it wouldn't be as good as her last few.

Somebody showed me the video for this song 'Hips Don't Lie' and I was totally captivated. Boy can this girl move! The video itself has encouraged me to take up belly dancing again!

As for the song, well, it's catchy enough, but it took me a few listens to really get into it. It's a good song, and if you haven't bought the album 'Oral Fixation Vol 2', wait until June 19th to get the repackaged version as that has two new songs on it than the album out currently.
