Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Best game I've played on the DS
I have a whole bunch of games on my DS - Mario Kart, Dr Kawashima 1 and 2, Big Brain Academy, the list goes on. But this is honestly the best game I've played (and completed!) on the DS.
The gameplay basically involves leading a team of little wind-up mini Marios, who have to collect stars on a series of platform screens. If you don't collect the stars and push buttons in the right order, you can't complete the level properly.
It's intellectually challenging - so you have to think and strategise and decide on the order in which you are going to use the different buttons and levers on the screen. And there's a lot of clever timing involved too in making sure that you avoid monsters.
It's just a shame the game is over - I think ... Read More:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Completely addictive!
When I first started playing this game I thought it would easily tire out and get repetitive, I was right but it's still addictive! The fact that you have to get the mini Marios to go through the door at the same time, and try to complete it as quickly as possible, makes you eager to get it just right, to be awarded coloured stars at the end. I thought the boss levels were a bit hard, but not impossible to complete.

The graphics are amazing and so cute! I'd describe it as a strategic game, but it could get fustrating; especially when the mini Marios don't do what you want them to do, or when they die off, which is quite upsetting as I'd have to restart the level again! All in all, another brilliant game from the Mario franchise.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - March to your own beat
I was so hooked on this game, I even started taking it to work with me to play in my lunch hour. It's brilliantly addictive, and a long time since I remember a Lemmings style puzzler of this quality. It reminds me of Krusty's Super Funhouse for the SNES, but without the horrible annoying music. Each level is based on a different Mario or Donkey Kong game stage - a genius idea, they even use Mario and DK music from past games.
The 'build your own level' is fantastic, but takes a few goes to get right.
The game's only let down is that it's maybe a bit too easy to complete, I finished it in about a week of playing during lunch hours. That said, it's still a lot of fun and it's great to see Mario and Donkey Kong in this kind of game.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Very fun game, a bit too short though.
Despite the fact that I only ever finished 2 levels with a gold star (silver for the rest) this was quite an easy game. I took it on holiday with the intention of it being decent fodder for downtime but I finished it all in 6 days.

Asides from that it's very cute and colorful (as with most Mario games) and has some great gameplay and tunes. It's a lot like the Lemmings games crossed with a little bit of snakes and ladders. The puzzles are clever and fun to solve and it's never boring. I did find the lack of response (only sometimes) from the stylus pen to be a bit annoying, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

Perfect for kids, a decent distraction for adults.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A lot of miniature mayhem and fun!
I have tried every Mario game the DS has out at the moment.... I thought this game might be a cheap spin off from the classic Donkey Kong days on the NES, but I was wrong!

It's addictive, and you cannot help but laugh out loud at the sound effects of the Mini-Marios. It is not the most challenging game of the Mario series, but the ability to design and create your own levels will keep DS addicts happy while the next installment arrives.

A lot of fun, and worth the money for playability - you'll want to go back and try the lot again!
