Amazon.com:
Pokémon Battle Revolution takes place on an island called Pokétopia, where your goal is to battle your way through challenging Colosseums to become the Pokétopia Master. Pokémon Battle Revolution is the first Wii - Nintendo DS linked title, which means that you can transfer your Pokémon from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl wirelessly and watch them battle in full 3D!

Pokémon Battle Revolution features three main modes of play: Colosseum Battle Mode, DS Battle Mode, and Wi-Fi Battle Mode. In Colosseum Battle Mode, your goal is to battle your way through a series of Colosseums, each with its own set of rules and challenges. In DS Battle Mode, two to four players can get together to watch their Pokémon battle on the big screen while using their Nintendo DS systems as controllers. To participate in this mode, each player will need his or her own Nintendo DS and copy of Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl.

Things get really interesting in Wi-Fi Battle Mode, which allows you to battle your friends over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection using Friend Codes. You can also square off against Trainers from around the world using Pokémon Battle Revolution's Wi-Fi Rank system, which pits you against Trainers that have skill levels similar to your own.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - It's amazing!
I think this is a really good game because you get to play wi fi & battle with others all over the world. After you have battled them you get to collect thier passes and then you can play with thier pokemon in free battle.
I had both the diamond and pearl and played them often on DS so I was very familiar with the game. I thought it was great to be able to download all my pokemon onto the Wii game.
If you don't have a DS with diamond or pearl it would not be fun!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A must have for Pokemon Fans, but buy Diamond or Pearl first.
I got this game for Christmas. I was really looking forward to it coming out in the UK as I am a huge Pokemon fan, but had never played on any of the Colosseum games, only the GB/GBA games.
When I played this game, it was definitely not a disappointment. I played this game non stop, unlike other reviews I think the graphic's are really good for the Wii. Another really good point to make about the game is the DS/DS Lite connectivity. This allows you to upload all your pokemon from Diamond and Pearl into the game and battle with them in the game, and buy (with the money earned from battling in the Closseums)and download items that can be used in Diamond and Pearl. Further more, you can battle with other players by using your DS/DS ... Read More:

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - not exactly a long term investment...
This game is excellent except for the countless mitherings from the receptionist, the reason my title is what it is, is because the levels aree way to short. and have an incredibly steep learning curve. i'd also prefer it if my pokemon were not obliterated online by everyone you meet (with the exception of the noobs with the free rental pass) i am a die hard pokemon fan and have all the pokemon on my ds, but dont understand how suicune can anhialate all of my pokemon, even when all of my poke's are lvl 100. i bought the wii and this game just for the online capabilities(i know xbl an psn are alot better) but itsa quite frankly appauling. Nintendo, you just lost yet another die hard nintendo fanboy... All because of a stupid poke game, nintendo, ... Read More:

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Possibly the poorest pokemon game so far.
I'm a massive fan of the pokemon games and am very happt to speak the truth on here. It is an accessory. I've played a few of the single player colosseums but that's it. There is no proper single player mode like in Colosseum and XD, there's no way to gain legendary pokemon like how you could get Ho-oh and Lugia in the Gamecube ones and it's nothing but battles. You're also limited to 2 trainer passes at the start (although that may change when you progress as I've only done 3 battles) and you'll need a DS to put more pokemon on.

The graphics are a joke. If you were expecting this to rival the best of the Wii - Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and Endless Ocean - then you're in for a shock. Like Mario and Sonic, the pokemon are clearly ... Read More:

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - No DS?? No fun!
If you don't have a DS - DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!! If you have no DS data to copy over to your Wii you cannot make your own trainer, you cannot capture your own pokemon, you cannot evolve your own pokemon, you can't even level up pokemon! You just get to battle pointlessly and endlessly with the pokemon handed to you at the start (which you can't even choose). Really this is not a game in its own right. Its more of an expansion for the pokemon DS games.

The game does look like it could be fun if you had a DS but I don't see why they couldn't have made the first Wii pokemon title one which Wii owners could enjoy in it's own right? Daft. I took it back to the shop.
