Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - How is it possible to feel nostalgia for a world I never knew?
To the reviewer who posed the question of whether I would have preferred half an hour of this magnificent film to have ended up on the cutting room floor, I can give an emphatic reply: absolutely not! I loved every second and could have carried on watching for longer, days if necessary!!

I was never bored for a moment, ironic given my self-acknowledge low boredom threshold. Why? Everywhere you look there is beauty: for starters, the sheer scale and grandeur of the breathtaking Patagonian scenery in recreating this epic journey, which during the final scenes where the hero swims a river never before swum to get to the leper colony reminded me in some small measure of Werner Herzog's madcap adventures in the Amazon. In the creation, ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Incredible - film making at it's very best
This is one of those films I've kept meaning to watch, but in all honestly, wasn't really that keen, but having seeing it for the first time last night, I just had to go out and buy it this morning (sorry Amazon, I couldn't wait for it to be delivered).

Impeccable acting, great camera work, genuinely touching without ever being sickly, this is a truly beautiful film. Laugh out loud funny in places, it will move you to tears in others.

Gael Garcia Bernal once again excels in another superior road movie that's even better than the glorious Y tu mamá también. His performance is equalled by the endearing Rodrigo De La Serna and the people of all the countries they visit. I found the camera work excellent and the landscapes worthy ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Che terrific.
Absolutly compelling viewing, sub titles a little off putting but no real issue. Have watched it twice in a week. Its a shame I could have watch more and more but it ends. The extras are well worth it as well.
If you interested in this kind of history this gives you a true insight into just what got Che's clock ticking.
Che terrific.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Don't let the subtitles put you off - a real treat.
Like many people, I think twice about a film where I have to read the dialogue but I'm so glad I watched this.
Based on the book of the same name, it portrays Che Guevara's journey through South America & the way that experience shaped his attitude towards society.
It's also a story of love & friendship & has many moments which make you reflect on what the world would be like if we didn't all seem to be chasing the dollar.
A thought provoking film which also has an interesting soundtrack.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Grandiose promises badly delivered
This movie over-promises, it has a bit of everything but does not fully communicate eventually. Was it about beautiful south-american landscape?? Better watching a proper full-length documentary on Chile or Peru instead. An extremely hollow or light description of the idol of generations - Ernesto. Again, a well done historic documentary would make justice of him - and many do.
Flat movie, not engaging.
Disappointing.
