- Awesome software with optional content
To the review about disk space above.... the other content is optional, you don't have to install it all.

Also, if you are trying to run this piece of higly advanced software on a mac with 60gb of space, then you need to think about upgrading.

Logic Pro Studio is better, generally, than all the other music creation/production software out there at the moment.

- Simply The Best DAW I Have Ever Used
I was using a PC and Cakewalk - pretty good product. However I decided to go the Apple and Logic route due to some 'issues' with my Windows computer.

I'm so glad I did as this product is simply amazing. It's everything you want in a DAW and more:

- Intuitive and easy to use
- Pro quality audio
- Comprehensive feature set
- Stable and reliable

If you want to make music whether at home in your bedroom or in the world's best recording studio then this is the tool you need.

Logic Pro has revamped its software, upgraded the main screen to avoid endless clutter of sub-screens, and provided more whistles and bells to enhance the sonics and speaker arrangements. Basically, this kicks cubase in the guts and allows anyone from amateur to pro to develop their musicianship in stages. It is easy to pick up and start delving into, and you will find more and more tweaks and effects as you get into the guts of the software engine. One reviewer mentioned problems with hard disk space. A second hard drive costs around £70 for 500mb, and an external amp can be picked up for around £100. Not having tried this version of logic i can see and understand the glowing review below..but please be aware that this program can take up about 30 to 40 GIG of hard disc space.
As someone who has a 6o gig drive, I'm wary of buying this product..and just a little bit miffed that apple ( and pc) design programs that are heavier than the current models of computers allow to run and therefore warrant an upgrade in your computer,
I'm sure the program is all fine and whizzy but if you ain't got the space have a think about it or maybe consider logic express 8 whihc is what I might be heading for soon as it takes up less hard drive space

Remember Emagic Logic Platinum 4? And 5? And 6? And Apple Logic 7? If you're a long term Logic user, then you'll recognise that this product has just got better and better with each generation. It is now vastly more powerful, vastly more processor efficient, and vastly more capable of being adapted to what you want to do (rather than what the programmers thought you might want to do).

Up until this version, though, I've had two ongoing dislikes.

The first was the dongle system. I've never liked dongles. They're easy to lose, easy to break, and they occupy USB ports that are better used for Midi boxes and graphic tablets.
