Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Juanes is a legend
He is so talented and I love how is songs are so wholesome and soulfull.
This is an artist that sings from his heart and sings about things he believes in. All the songs have a unique sound and are beautiful.

I loved Juanes since I heard A Dios le Pido many many years ago. I've not looked back since. I've just introduced him to my friends and they (with no/little understanding of spanish)like him too! Hopefully they will love him like I do but no pressure. :)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Juanes is simply fantastic!
I read some of the reviews, and went ahead and bought the album. Its the best thing I ever did! The C.D. has been played non stop in the car, at work, and at home. Its even playing on my laptop right now, as I am writing this review. Some of the tracks are so upbeat you just can't help dancing to them. The slower tracks are just as brilliant! Haven't a clue what he is singing about (only been learning spanish for a short while), which shows that the music itself is fantastic. I love it! Can you tell?!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Simply Magnificent!
I am currently studying french and spanish at University and this is the main reason i have gone looking for foreign music to listen to. After being played Juanes duet with Nelly Furtado "Fotografía" from the "Un Día Normal" album, i had to check him out further. I bought the "Mi Sangre" album (the version with the bonus tracks) and i was hooked. I may be studying the language but i am far from fluent, and therefore am not going to pretend that i was, at first, attracted by the lyrics. However, one of the great things about Juanes is that, despite his magnificent voice, almost every word is clear, even when sung quickly (like at the start of "No Creo En El Jamas"), and after a couple of listens i found myself singing along fervently. ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Review
Born in Colombia, Juanes (Juan Esteban Aristizabal) has achieved the high profile of a pop idol coupled with the esteem tendered to a cultural hero due to his thoughtful and courageous stance against violence and injustice. His sales have been stratospheric, his presence on Billboard and other charts prolonged; the multiple Grammy winner has also racked up a growing presence in the Anglo press and media. Juanes learned to play guitar from his late father and grew up surrounded by traditional forms like cumbia, bolero, and guasca, which he would later update and make his own. After youthful experiments with heavy metal (which live on in his affection for roiling electric guitar breaks), he moved to Los Angeles, where he reinvented himself as ... Read More:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The Times review
The phrase "today's biggest Latin artist" is common PR spin for lightweight salsa, used in the hope that another Livin' La Vida Loca will eventually turn up.

This year, it is the turn of Colombia's Juanes Vásquez to get an international push on the back of a million-selling album whose singles held the No 1 spot at home for six months in 2004. The single Me Enamora has the sass and suss of Girls Aloud (if their puppet master was Alex Kapranos) and is packed with hooks, yet it pales next to several songs, especially No Creo En El James, for which the singer shows off his guitar playing on a fantastic piece of pop-punk-funk. A seriously good time seems guaranteed
