The Vax V-125 Carpet Washer and Hard Floor Washer combines Heated Cleaning with SpinScrub brush technology and Dual V air path technology to give consistently amazing results every time.

The V-125 applies heat and water directly onto the carpet which cleans deep into the pile loosening stubborn dirt and stains, bringing them to the surface. At the same time, 6 SpinScrub brushes gently and effectively loosen dirt which is then sucked up using Dual V technology.

Dual V ensures that there is consistent suction across the width of the head which not only gives you efficient, powerful suction, but also improved carpet drying. The SpinScrub brushes are removable for easy cleaning.

The V-125 includes a Hard Floor Kit which lets you clean your hard floors as well as carpets.

The V-125 can also be used in spillage emergencies, quickly and efficiently. Just plug it in and suck up the spill, with no preparation needed you can clear up spillages straight away.

SpinScrub brush technology isn't limited to use on the floor, the V-125 comes with a power driven SpinScrub hand tool, ideal for stairs and upholstery cleaning.

- What About Hard Floors?
Have any of you owners tried your machine on hard floors? I emailed Vax and they say it's suitable, but I have a large slate floor which is naturally uneven. I'm a bit worried the machine won't be up to it, though it seems great from the reviews generally, and the carpet washing sounds popular! I just want to get the right tool...not sure whether to go for one of these or a scrubber-drier (more of a commercial thing?)

For many years, the only carpet washer I had was a Henry, one of those monsters with the face painted on the front. It was so messy to use and never seemed to get the carpet clean anyway, I eventually threw it out in disgust.

I bought the Vax V-125 really just hoping it would just be a better cleaner but it was far more than that. I was thrilled with its performance, the carpets looked brand new after cleaning and the machine (once I had read the instructions!) was far easier to use with no mess. I thoroughly recommend this machine combined with the solution recommended by Vax - Vax Ultra, the solution is expensive but well worth the outlay.

I have had this machine about 3 months and have used all over the house with really pleasing results. I have had my carpets cleaned by professionals and I have used the one you can rent from Johnsons and B&Q and was very sceptical about investing in my own carpet cleaner, but this is as good if not better than the other cleaning alternatives i have tried.

It is easy to set up so I can just drag it out of the cupboard for little accidents in a jiffy, the cleaning results are impressive and the carpets smell lovely and fresh afterwards. I lent my machine to a friend who had got chimney soot all over her 3 day old cream carpet......it has left a feint mark in 1 area but has removed the rest.........she is so impressed she will ... - Amazing Vax!!
I bought this cleaner about 2 weeks ago and went wild in the first week cleaning everything with exceptional results. I have done rugs, carpets and stairs and all look as good as new.....pleasing results. It's not rocket science to use this All Terrain Carpet Washer. Just fill up the individual reservoirs and off you go!

The only downside is that you'll have to buy more cleaning solution, as the two bottles supplied with the Vax are only 423ml. I bought some from another retailer for £7.99 for 1.5Lts which was £2.00 than another, so it pays to shop around!!

Overall I'm very extremely pleased with this cleaner and thoroughly recommend it if you have pets!!

Marvellous. Excellent. A standing ovation! Does it exactly what it says on the box... "Vax's best ever cleaner". Much better than my previous Bissell Proheat. Very powerful suction and revolutionary spinscrub technology clean really well. Suction is very powerful, carpets are left very dry. This is all in addition to the onboard built in heater which heats solution. Very easy to use! Works nicely with the new Vax Ultra carpet shampoo.
