Anyone looking for a decently priced home theatre system should consider the Samsung HT-TZ315R as it delivers good quality surround sound, is easy to assemble/set up and can be bought for less than £250. With my old system I was constantly changing the settings in an attempt to give me a decent home theatre experience. Having assembled and set this system up in less than 2 hours I put Saving Private Ryan on. This had been recently saved from SKY MOVIES and as I had connected my SKY+HD box using the optical in I was expecting some good sounds from all the speakers. Has anyone had a problem with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, it was perfect at first but went to put it on this morning and the weird thing is my Indian jones film which played 5.1 last week now does not ??, i cant seem to get the audio button to work the little hand keeps appearing when pressed, any ideas ????, i have asked Amazon for a replacement.

just received my surround sound and it has a very annoying high pitched noise from the speakers,has anyone else had this problem if so was it fixed after a replacement

i have just bought the tz315r , and put it with my 1080 tv , upscaling is superb, sound is fantastic ( did worry the neighbour , they thought we were having another earthquake ). easy to install and best price around from amazon , currys sell it for 279.99.. recommend it highly..

This is an excellent system. Very good sound quality and can be connected to your sky box with optical audio lead for great sound.

Setup is very easy, speaker stands are a little fiddly, but no rocket science needed. All in all, this does exactly what it says on the box and does it very well. Sub provides very good bass, and the satellite speakers are very smart.
