Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Packed with strong songs, deserves to do well
Stumbled across Katy Perry by chance a few weeks ago, but now I am hooked! Great to hear a lady who sounds like she hasn't been sucking at hellium balloons.

"I Kissed A Girl" is definately the stand out track that most people will be familiar with, but fear not if you think that's the album's only strong material. "Hot n Cold" is a great track to get you moving. "Thinking of You" will tug at your heart strings. "Ur so gay" is a great giggle. "Whilst "Waking up in Vegas" and "Self Inflincted" are good ol' fashioned feel good pop.

One of the few albums I am happy to listen to all the way through, again and again.

I heard the kissed a girl song in the car the other day and it was very catchy, I looked it up on the web and listened to her other tracks. I think it is graet that it has caused so much controversy and very clever marketing on the names of the songs, I can't believe that so many people are in uproar about it, it just shows what the world has come to.
All in all a good, easy listening album, one I will be keeping in the car for a little while.
Be warned girls it is catchy and you will be singing 'I kissed a girl' down the road shopping!

An exciting prospect with a sound not unlike that of the other famous female Perry in music. "I kissed a girl" is the stand-out track and is somewhat different from the rest but it is all still of sufficient quality to warrant not just a listen but a purchase! A good album and I hope she releases more of the same, perhaps more of the sound of the "kissed" track
