VHS : The Lion King [1994]

I bought this expecting the actual Lion King film but was sadly disappointed to find a read-along story instead. This should not be listed as The Lion King [1994], this is dishonest.

Rating: - What a con!
If you want the Lion King DVD/movie, as I did, do not buy this item. Although the item is listed as 'The Lion King 1994', it is not the movie but instead a childrens read along DVD. Appalling misrepresentation in my view, but shame on me for not looking more closely at the reviews. I assumed (rashly as it turns out) that because I had searched for the Lion King under DVDs and the title said it was the Lion King, and this was Amazon then I didn't need to read any further. Won't do that again. My daughter (who I bought it for) is gutted.

Rating: - Misleading Item!
Do not buy this item if you are expecting the Lion King DVD. Despite the item being listing on Amazon as 'The Lion King 1994', it is in fact a read along DVD. I should have read the previous reviews! An honest company would list the item as 'Lion King Read Along DVD.' I will be avoiding this seller in future!

I totally agree with bairdio, i don't watch animated films much, until i watched this 1 and as bairdio said you will enjoy Timon and Pumbaa's sense of humor, and you'll be thinking and laughing to your self days after.

the product that i recieved was the lion king vhs and the quality of the product was perfect. i recieved the product quickly even with the state of the postal system at the moment. i had some concerns with the product before i recieved it and spoke to the seller via e-mail and he was extreamly helpful an provided great customer service.
