VHS : The Lion King [1994]

fantastic a must for any collector i bought it for my son for christmas but i ended up keeping it for myself. The theatre with the 6 figures is great and the film and special features are fantastic i enjoyed the film the first time round but this is even better. earl makes the lion king come to life with his voice over.

Rating: - Excellent with one disappointment!
This is an excellent DVD from Disney. The only dissapointment is the new sequence 'The Morning Report' as it is extremely obvious it is a different singer singing for Young Simba, and this kind of spoils the new sequence. You shouldn't let this put you off though because it is still interesting to see, and the original version of the film is on the DVD anyway.

The lion king never looked better on DVD. The images are crystal clear with the colour more obvious than ever before.

Theres a whole disk of extras as well as many extras on the disk with the film including a new version of 'Circle of Life' (sang by random stars from the Disney Channel), a 'Which character are you most like?' quiz and many featurettes about the making of the film.

If you liked Disney's previous 'Platinum Edition' offers you'll love this, and if you are a huge fan of the lion king, it is definitely for you!

Rating: - Great film for all the family
Yet another great film from Disney! Who else can include a flatulent pig that does a Robert De Niro impersonation when he is insulted and get away with it. This film is great for adults and kids and is hilarious, especially the hyenas. It is quite sad in parts but as is usual with Disney it all has a happy ending. You’ll love it Hakuna Matata – no worries

One of disneys greatest triumphs- a great film that they made up themselves!!!!
many of disneys films falter because they are not original work-they spoil the images of these fairy tales that children would get from books.
The lion king on the other hand-all disney's work is a lovely piece of cinematic genius.
Great characters such as timone and pumba help the younger viewers enjoy the film-and whats cuter than a lion cub!!

Rating: - A WORK OF ART
Lion king is by far the best Disney Film. It is a shame that they havent brought this excellent film out on dvd b4. You just no that this is going to be great!!!
