VHS : Repossessed [1989]

When I was about to watch this so called Exorcist spoof, I was expecting tons of laughs and a film that could possibly be better than THE NAKED GUN!!! It stars Leslie Nielsen so what could go wrong? Then I watched it.
It is nothing but an unfunny wannabe spoof that tries hard to equal with the classic ZUCKER ABRAHAMS ZUCKER movies. It fails miserably. All jokes fall flat on their faces and has acting that will make you cringe and think 'this acting doesn't belong in a spoof!'

We see father Jedediah Mayii (played by Leslie Nielsen taking off Max Von Sydow)who must rid Nancy Aglet (Linda Blair) of the devil...again, years after she was possessed as a child.
Linda Blair looks embarrased to be in the movie as her acting in the flick does not work at all with the supposed comedy going on around her. Leslie Nielsen probably just needed the money.
Also starring Anthony (RETURN OF THE KILLER TOMATOES) Starke and Ned Beatty

Rating: - excellent, funny spoof take-off of the film the Exorcist.
really funny take off of the Exorcist. Bit weird in places, but Leslie Neilson really makes you laugh! Especially the bit with him in the gym! Enough said on that! hehe. Anyway, a must watch for all Leslie Neilson fans, and anyone who wants a good laugh!
