Video Games : Sonic Adventure

Rating: - The downfall of the Dreamcast had nothing to do with this.
'Sonic Adventure' is a game that enthralled me for god knows how many hours when it was first released. From an early age I've been captivated by the well loved Hedgehog and this game only increased that depandancy i had upon the games of the Sega masterpiece.
The game uses a walk-through environment of cities, landscapes and mini-games to connect the newly crafted stages to the storyline. This doesnt sound an all too appealing idea when first considered, due to the original Sonic games simply following a 'point and run' strategy, however it immediately becomes a well loved aspect of the game allowing hidden areas, clips and cameos to be discovered.
The stages are essentially the same as the respected 2D levels, however, the jump between dimensions has been crafted spectactuarly creating such a visually entertaining adventure that i have, on many occasions, simply stopped to admire my favourite characters from different camera perspectives.
I cannot emphasise fully how fabulous this game really is. For any gaming fan, this small add-on to your collection may become the most treasured. It certainly is mine.

Rating: - An Old Favourite
Anyone who - like myself - used to play this years ago will love this game. I'm glad I have it back! Although, now that I am used to modern console graphics the glitches are far more irritating and noticeable than they used to be. I'm not convinced those new to Dreamcast or this particular game would appreciate it as much...

Rating: - Best sonic game ever
this is one of those games that just never gets old quite like sonic 2 it has great graphics great controls well its the same old story kinda take eggman down but what makes this game great is how fun it is now id never say this is the greatest game of all time but its easily the game ive had most fun with (and beleive me ive played a lot of games) if you havent got a dreamcast get one simply just to play this game i got this when i was a kid because we didnt have a lot of money this is one out of about 4 games i got for the dc and i didnt complain ounce simply because i just had to come back and play it again know its not as hard as it was when i was a kid it would take me about a week at the max but still get this game and you wont regret that pound you spend god i wish my dc wasnt broken or id play it now.

This game rocks man. I really aint a fan of sonic heroes n shadow the hedgehog. Those were poor games with poor graphics and perfomance. After I played them two I thought sonic didnt work in 3D and could never match up towards the 4 great games on the mega drive, WERNT I WRONG! Get a dreamcast just 2 play this game! The graphics are good and performance is excellent. Decent story and very fast gameplay. This game so nearly measures up to the oh so great 'Sonic The Hedgehog 2'!!! BUY IT NOW

As always Sonic The Hedgehog is back to stop Doctor Roboknic from taking over the world, only this time it's with great graphics and gameplay, a team to help him ( 6 playable characters) a large number of great levels, (all creative) and good attacks. You can walk around either the city, the ruins or manage your own virtual pet. The game is brilliant and once you get this one, you'll be hooked onto a long line of buying Sonic The Hedgehog games.
