Software : Star Wars Episode 1: Droidworks

This is a top game especially for parents and children.

The basic idea is to build by selecting from a series of parts your own droids. Depending on the parts you select, your droid will have certain capabilities (weight, magnetism, communication, power usage, jumping ability etc). There are a series of missions to use your droid's skills which progress quite well.

My 5 year old son enjoys building droids and testing what they can do, even though the missions are beyond his age ability.

There's a good sense of progression and some challenges took me quite a while to figure out as an Adult - I still havent mastered it all. The game has longevity - you'll still want to play it months after you bought it - without needing to spend hours at each sitting.

The star wars element is largely terrain similarities plus star wars characters doing clips between levels, but this shouldn't detract from a good game which my star wars fanatic son loves.

Rating: - Another Really Good Star Wars Game
The Idea in this Star Wars game is to build a droid to complete missions and get more parts. Sound and visuals are good but speech is limited,but overall a really good game.
