Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Good at first but didn't last long...
At first I fitted them correctly and thought the sound quality was great compared the standard iPod earphones.
Comfortable, good bass, clear treble;

BUT...

They only lasted 2 months and the right earphone stopped working almost completely, although i had not mistreated them.
Conclusion: Good, but they don't last long. You can get some Sony ones for the only £5 more, but they last longer.

I wouldn't buy this again...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Worked For Me!
I needed a pair of headphones for my MP3 player and looked at the positive reviews and decided to try them. I followed the fitting instructions given by another reviewer. I nearly burst an eardrum because the volume was too high! Turn the volume down beore trying these, if fitted properly the sound level will be high. I found them very comfortable and they stayed put for me. I found the sound quality very good....especially given the low price.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Depends on what you're used to
Sorry guys/gals....this won't be a good review.

A bit of background: I'm a professional musician who has spent a lot of time doing sound production. So I'm pretty particular about sound quality.

The first thing the struck me the second I put these headphones in my ears is that there were NO MID FREQUENCIES. All that came out was a horribly colour-less sound. Sure, there was all the bass in the world and a lot of treble (which, incidently, neither sounded good nor is it good to have in your ears in terms of long term hearing loss) but the mids were sorely lacking. The guitars and snare drum had no tone to them.

Again, I reiterate that I can be very particular about sound quality and it's entirely possible that the casual listener won't notice the difference/it won't bother them. I, however, could not deal with the way these earphones altered the sound.

Amazon were absolutely top notch and did a full refund in a timely manner. Double thumbs up for their customer service.

I'm afraid I just plain don't recommend them. I don't claim to have tried the shure e2c's or the sennheiser models but I will say this much: this product let me down. Again, if you're into mega bass and treble, these will probably do the job for you.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Brilliant
I bought these headphones hoping that they wouldnt be more useless tat like the others i had bought and by the reviews they looked good. They are so much better than i expected, im not an expert on sound quality but i would say that it is pretty good. they also have really good material on the cable that means they never seem to get tangled. You can also have them on low volume because they block out a lot of the outside sound, good for use on a plane etc.
Buy them!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best Value for Money I Can Find!
It's hard to fault something that costs so little, for what you actually get!

I've had "expensive" mini headphones that are uncomfortable to wear, and they don't have anywhere as near as good as a sound quality as these do. I've been playing music for over 25 years, and my hearing is very good and very sensitive, so I should know something is good when I hear it! As long as you fit them properly, then they are great.

The little silicon pads that go actually right in the ear, are comfortable, and there are 3 pairs, so you can pick the right size for you, accordingly. These are much better then the mini "on ear" headphones that you get with stuff like the ipod. I always find these extremely uncomfortable, and they fall out/off all the time.

I've heard people say that the sound is "tinny", or the bass response isn't that good. Rubbish!! If you fit them properly, and use some sort of equalizer (every MP3 type player has some sort of equalization), then I think they are superb!! If you don't like the sound, or find it wanting. then I think you'll have to pay around 10 times the amount, to get a "pro" pair, but I think £70-£80 is a hell of a lot to pay for so called "perfect sound".

No, they aren't totally noise proof, but they do isolate the sound very well, and a bonus is that you don't need to deafen yourself, because being an "in ear" type, I find that I actually reduce the volume, to a more comfortable level! I've had mine for several months, and they've yet to let me down. Even if they were to "pack in", they are so inexpensive that it wouldn't be a problem to get more, if mine do fail.

If you want perfection, and have deep pockets then these probably aren't for you (if you want to spend 10 times the amount, I bet you wouldn't get much better than these, certainly not 10 times better!). If, however, you want a good quality set of headphones at a more than reasonable price, then these are a steal!!
