Cons:
-It is incredibly easily scratched
-The price is a bit higher than similar mp3 players
-The screen has been known to break alot
-The ipod support staff are apparently very unhelpful

Pros:
-Looks good
-very very very very very small
-really easy to put music on using itunes
-screen is very good quality
-music is well organised
-Apple say they will replace any faulty screens

Rating: - It's perfect, except it broke!!
First of all lets get this strate this is a well decent machine. The screen is high resolution, the sound quality is amazing, it looks so sleek and the click wheel is genius. I loved it, all my songs and album art, all my photos and most of my entertainment. It was absolutly peferct.
Now the mushy stuff is out of the way the bad stuff, and this is why it got 1 star instead of 5.
It broke, plain and simple. I had read many reviews about how the screen had broke and i saw equally as many saying nothing was wrong so I took the plundge. I was screwed. 3 weeks after having it the screen broke it still played music but the screen wouldent turn on, I even tried resetting and restarting it, that wasted a very painful hour of my life that could have gone towards conquering world poverty.

Any ways to sum up it would be great if it haden't gone and broke, VERY DISSAPOINTING APPLE!!

Rating: - Small problems but quality
This is perhaps the one piece of kit any commuter needs. Incredibly light and solid this will make that walk to work or train/ride much easier. The 2gb size is fine as it holds enough for over a solid days worth of music.

There are a few small problems. Firstly they are prone to scratches which is a real shame as I have to put mine in a case so you don't see the great looks. Secondly you only get a USB charger in the box (mains charger is avaliable seperately) so you have to charge trough a PC. Lastly even if you buy a black version you get white ear phones, which spoils the look.

Rating: - Not quite value for money but excellent in other ways
I got the 2GB nano about a week ago and have used it everyday. I left the plastic cover that was stuck to the screen on and used the standard case that came with it and I cannot yet see any visible scratches. Spending 122 quid and then buying all other kinds of accessories was somewhat absurd for me, because there are plenty of other players around at the same price which give way more storage, although I will be buying a mains charger. Battery life is somewhat standard and may give you about 10hrs or more playback so long as you stop fiddling about with the controls. You get 1.8GB actual capacity which will let you load all your favourite tracks but if you are the type who prefers to listen to random songs from your full library, like me, you would definitely be better off buying a 30gig ipod or creative zen m. I definitely wouldnt go for the 4gig nano when the latter two options are avaliable at a slightly higher price. Sound quality is standard, but there are other players that play with much better quality. Build and style is excellent and unbelievably slim. You are paying about 30 quid more (compared to other players with about same capacity) just for the style, still worth it if you are an ipod fan like me!
