i bought two off these for my daughters for xmas,i also had to buy hard cases to cover them as i had heard about cracked screens,i think both of mine are faulty,the both have frozen now and would not turm off,had to wait for battery to drain,they have only done this once,if they do it again i am taking them both back,also we you cannot delete songs from the ipod itself,if anyone no,s different,would love to no how,so i always have arguments as they also share the same music program,thus they both have to have each others songs,and cant figure out how to just delete 1,ipod should have made it so you can delete each song from the ipod,had to buy a wall charger as well,as i dont leave my pc on,would not buy again,customer surpport is bad,online only,no response to mail,they look good but thats about it.

Rating: - mixed feelings about my ipod
I recived my ipod at 2pm 24hrs after ordering in already got it charged music on it listening to it great sound.A true thing of beauty really light had to purchase a cover for it as the one that apple supply is rubish and doesnt protect much of it.also had to purchase the podgear v2 travel charger because i travel alot and dont always take my laptop is really good idea maybe apple should supply something like it would make life alot easier.Apart from that it is a truly wonderfull thing and i would recomend it.

Rating: - Ipod Nano; first impressions
After much research into portable MP3 music players I decided to buy an Ipod Nano. My final choice was decided by the small volume and low weight of the Nano. I would liked to have had an FM radio tuner but the lack of this was balanced by the small dimensions of the Nano. I principally wanted the MP3 player to be portable and skip free so that I could use it while travelling, running, at the gym and cycling. Initially I was put off Ipods by concerns about their vunerablility to damage but, as other reviewers have said, this was easily overcome by buying a 'skin' and keeping the Nano in that. The people I talked to all said that the Ipod software was intuitive and easy to use and the build quality was good. Since receiving my Nano I can strongly endorse these views. My (and that of my wife's) player has worked without fault; the control wheel is easy to learn and is a master piece of design. All in all I am very impressed with the Nano. It does most things that Apple claim. My estimate is that I will be able to load about 400 tracks rather than the 500 claimed. This is probably because I have quite a few classic as well as popular tracks. Any regrets? Yes, I should have gone for the 4gb model rather than the 2gb. Other than that, no regrets at all. I will probably use the Nano to store play lists and change these regularly rather that try to store a lot of CDs. Finally, it does no harm at all that it is stunning to look at.

Rating: - iPod nano!
I got a black ipod nano for christmas and when I seen how small and compact it was I could hardly believe it.

I'd heard that the nano was prone to various reliability problems and was quite a fragile piece of equipment, obviously I was worried but so far it is working perfectly and remains intact.

I use my ipod quite alot. I keep it in a skin when I'm walking about with it and so far its holding up well. It is easy to put songs on from itunes, create and edit playlists and get everything set up just the way you like it. The colour screen is really nice and very easy on the eye. I've heard complaints about the earphones but I can honestly say the sound is good and the earpeice fits comfortably into my ear.

I would recommend the nano but I do think it's a good idea not to be to rough with it so maybe it isn't a good idea to buy it for younger childern. It holds 500 songs which is more than enough to keep anyone going. Its small, sleek ,almost weightless and for me it was a massive step up from my mini disk player.

I give it four stars only because I feel this product is not durable enough to be suitable to everyone.

I have just got one of these for christmas, and so far im not dissapointed. Like many people i have alot of my music stored on the computer as mp3's. I know this one is only 2gb, but its big enough for me anyway, so far i have got 117 songs on mine. You can buy lots of nice assesories such as decent leather covers to protect it from getting scratched, and armbands so you can use it down the gym!. I must advise though, this is a neat but delicate little thing, so make sure you purchase a screen protector and a case, or it will get scratched. I have also just purchased a mains charging unit, so i dont have to keep plugging it into the computer all the time. Brilliant little gadget, worth every penny.
