3 Majour problems with this products

1. iTunes. it took me an entire weekend to transfur all my digital music files to the iTunes Player which is an INSANE amount of time for music on the go (but if you allready use the itunes software then i suppose you'll be used to it)

2. The Baterry life on this thing is low, and i mean LOW. i put it on charge Overnight(so about 9 hours) and by midday the next day it was dead.

3. Everytime i pushed a button i thought i was going to break it and when i did drop it, 2 days after i got it, the screen cracked rendering my shiny new gadget unuseable.
Luckly the shop i bought it from let me return it(but i only got store credit).

My advise is Don't Buy a Nano, the battery life sucks and they break realy easyly

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - FANTASTIC!!!
After much searching and deliberation, I plumbed for this 2MB iPod Nano, it arrived today and I'm really happy I bought it. It's ridiculously small, light and sexy. I tried the earphones that came with it and the sound quality is imeasurably better than that of the Hitachi ones I already had. It's really easy to set up and operate. It comes with a little pouch to protect it but I will be getting one that allows you to operate the wheel without taking it out, it'll be much more practical.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - play listen watch enjoy
i absoulutely loved the ipod nano it make the ordinary mp3 players look rubish the ipod nano does fufil any expectaions you look for in an mp3 plus it has a few suprises to did you know that you can even play games on your ipod although this feature is hard to find it may also be a concern of how hard it is to select using the click in the centre
all reservations aside i was able to empty the entire music quantity of my computer on to the nano (not to mention my pics)this was brill and i suggest anyway looking for an
mp3 to go for the nanao

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very nice indeed, but what's with the 'phones?
Got one of these, in black, for Chrimbo, lucky me. The setup was pretty straight forward and within a few minutes I had a whole heap of music stacked up and ready to go. So far (three weeks and counting) it is performing very well on the daily commute, with no screen problems. However:

1) What's with the cheapo headphones?? Why is it that a gizmo costing a week's wages, for many people, comes with headphones that look like they just came out of a 1980s Christmas cracker? Honestly, the pair I got with my very first personal stereo (c. 1985, Sanyo, size of a brick) were better. In years to come, Apple will have their pants sued off by people who jammed these elephantine lumps of plastic into their ears, and then had to crank up the volume to unutterably high levels because they are so poorly shielded. My nano now sounds sooo much better with a decent pair of Sony headphones instead; they aren't white, but they work a treat.

2) Battery life. A claimed 14 hours... really? Listened to at mousey quiet volumes and not touching the click wheel this might just be possible. Despite following the instructions (charge fully for three hours before using the first time) all I get is about 6-10 hours if I am lucky. Heaven only knows what happens if you use the slide show feature...

Anyway, in summary a very neat, lovely to behold gadget, but bear in mind that you should save a few quid for some better headphones.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Do not buy!!!
I have just sent back my 3rd ipod nano! The screen breaks everytime you put it in your pocket and the back snaps! Stay well away and stick to the mini shuffle or trusty 30gb or 60gb
