Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - good but boring very soon
this is very blood thirsty if u dont like blood do not buy atall. This game is very fun except u do the same thing in every mission with the same tools i played this for 30mins then got bored

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Great idea for a game but too darn hard!
I snapped this game up as soon as it was released as i thought the concept was ace! use my stylus to cut people open and perform operations!! how cool!. Sadly it was just too hard!! i did the first couple of 'levels' and got into it and then they just became stupid hard! for that reason it was traded in quick smart. So hence i have marked the fun level down because it wasnt fun after a while it was just frustrating!. Shame as the story line seemed ok and its a great idea for a different sort of game. I think kids would really struggle with this one.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Hard, but good clean fun
This game is really enjoyable and highly addictive. Despite the fact that I've been stuck on one of the later levels for ages now, I still keep trying just for the sheer fun of it. It is so rewarding to finally complete an operation you've been stuck on a while that I just seem to keep plodding away!

You do have to be quite accurate with the stylus at times, but this all adds to the fun of the game - I'd moan if it was dead simple!

Now I've worked out what to press to skip the annoying repetitive dialogue (it does play most of it again every time you retry a level), I'm much happier!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Disappointing
I first saw this game online and thought i would really enjoy it. The first few operations are fun but then it starts to get a bit unbelievable and quite frankly, tedious!

Some of the operations are rather difficult as it is but you also have a silly nurse that keeps interrupting you.

If you're expecting a lifelike game with real illnesses then you'll be disappointed.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Initial enjoyment quickly replaced by utter frustration.
This game has a lot going for it. it's perfectly suited to the DS. The graphics are simple but cute, the sound not so agonising that you need to turn it down all the time like on some other DS titles. The music in the surgery complements the mood and 'drama' of the operation.

You are always under pressure during the game. You could be half-way through an operation feeling good about remembering the right procedure for removing a tumour when suddenly the music goes into panic mode and the cute nurse squeaks "Doctor!" You already know from the look on her face that something has gone terribly wrong with the operation. You now have LOADS of bulging tumours (or whatever) to remove using your stylus. This means you have to stop the patient from flat-lining by boosting him with green...'stuff' while doing several fiddly procecedures on the DS's tiny screen before the time runs out. The problem I found is that its just too difficult and the only satisfaction comes from the sheer relief of getting through an operation which, more often than not, will need more than one or two attempts.

Overall, this game requires lots of commitment and dexterity, not to mention patience as it can become very frustrating. I tried to like this game, but after a year of trying to like it I realised playing it was just too much of a chore. But thats just me.
