Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - "I'd Like to See the Movie They Make About You Now."
We all know the story of Chicken Little (Zach Braff), the poor little chicken who tried to warn the town that the sky was falling only to have it turn out to be an acorn. But what happened to him after the story ended? That's what this movie tells us.

Turns out that Chicken Little is in middle school. His exploits of a year ago are an embarrassment to his father, Buck Cluck (Garry Marshall). And the fact that there are commemorative plates and an upcoming movie based on the story haven't done much for the father/son relationship.

Despite Buck's constant pleas, Chicken Little is determined to prove his worth to his father. And, just as he's about to put the whole sky is falling nonsense behind him, it happens again. What should Chicken Little do this time?

Okay, let's get the bad out of the way right now. Yes, the story is a little slow in the first half and a little weird and frantic in the second half. And that second half might scare kids until they learn what is really happening. But there really is so much to love.

Even though the first half is slow, there are so many wonderful gags in it. Chicken Little's friends like Fish Out of Water and Runt of the Little are a hoot. One scene has a background joke I love. And once the sky falls a second time, things really pick up. As I said, it goes off in a weird direction, but they manage to make it work. This isn't something serious, but it is fun, and that's all that truly matters. Having said that, there is an important moral about parent child communication that gets a tad preachy at times. I don't mind too much.

No, this isn't a grand slam. But it is plenty of fun to entertain the young and young at heart.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - A confusing Disney animation
I have to admit the initial half an hour of Little Chicken captured my full interest. The noticeable Disney's humour and values became evident. The sequences of introducing the story and characters is well delivered. At this point, the movie looked promising and a bright Disney's prospect.

The middle parts ruined the movie completely. The rich futuristic images and the too many characters are the damaging blows. A great deal of confusion crept in my mind. A question of "What on earth is happening?" kept pondering in my mind whilst watching the animation. The aliens invasion and objects kind of triggered the confusion and the movie coherently is muddled and completely looses the plot. The movie became unwatchable and I genuinely felt like switching the DVD off, but I was patient to reach the end, even if I struggled a great deal.

Disney's latest obsession with futuristic settings does not really appeals to me that much. I prefer the original fairly telling and in my opinion truly reflects what Disney stands out for.

Little Chicken lacks the elegance and conistency in terms of direction. Animation is about utilising objects correctly and with a sense of purpose, but not adding far too much dimensions and over- emphasis on creativity. The resulting effects are wasted resources and sacrificing a solid storyline. Chicken Little appears to expose those weaknesse. On the basis of what I have mentioned, Chicken Little is a feeble attempt to deliver quality Disney animations.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Hits the spot for the target audience even it adults hate it.
5 stars because that if what my kids would give it and it is a kids' film after all. I saw this at the cinema and thought it was really awful but for some inexplicable reason my kids absolutely adored it. I am now going to be forced to buy it as we have rented it twice since it came out on DVD and they still ask to see it on a regular basis.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - The Worst film ever made!!!
This is the worst film I can ever remember seeing the plot was pathetic the charcters were lowsy the voice overs were stupid DON'T BUY THIS FILM there are 31 I saw used and new (hint hint) save the £10 it takes to buy this and take your children to a pizza restaurant they'll enjoy it more

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Me and my little daughter we both had a lot of fun watching it
I really liked this movie, and, what is even more important, my 6-years old daughter liked it too. It is a really sweet history about a little guy (Chicken Little), half-orphaned, being raised by a very caring and loving but just a little overhelmed dad (Buck Cluck). Being little and wearing big glasses he is of course the dreamed target of class bullies, but - as it is usual with the nerds - he has a bunch of friends between other oucasts: a really ugly duck girl (Ugly Duckling), a really obese, asthma ridden pig (Runt of the Litter) and a foreign exchange student, totally fearless, always happy, but just a little... odd (Fish out of Water). And let it be said - this is one of the most likeable and bravest bunch of "losers" I ever saw.
The life of the little town and the life of a little town school are described in a great way. The mayor, the local newsman (emh, in fact a newsdog), the coach, the class bully and her sidekick - a great gallery of hilarious personages. The baseball match is one of the greatest moments in kids movies I ever saw. And once the aliens appear.... it is a delight. And once the REAL aliens appear - the movie gets even better. Me and my daughter saw it in cinema, we got it on DVD and we almost finished the game on Game Cube. And we both wait for the (possible) sequel.
