Electronics : Apple iPod nano 8GB black

Rating: - Simple to use & Great Fun
I was updating my iPod shuffle, which I've had for some years. I decided to stick with Apple but decided to update to the 3G nano!

What can I say its fantastic, so many features that are fun to use; the Quiz is a favourite for those quiet times in the office! It is very simple to use I haven't even read any of the instructions yet and I've still managed to muddle my way through it.

I would suggest buying a power charger as connecting it to the Laptop every time you want to charge it can be a pain! The silicon covers are also great for protecting it from little scratches and knocks!

If you want a MP3 that is a little bit special then go for this...you won't regret it!

Rating: - Could be slightly better
This is the best small MP3 yet, it can hold millions of photos and music and is very helpful as a personal organiser but ofcourse somethings do have their downsides. For people who like to store everything on their Ipod that they have such as videos, movies it is not that great even with an 8GB it is still to small for me. Also after 3 months of use it froze which began to frighten me a bit as I had owned it for only a small amount of time. Apple do not provide regular updates very often as I have had 2, the first being: 1.1 and the second being 1.2 with a distance of 2 months and will probably never receive another update again as of the slow speed Apple take to create new updates. Other than that the Ipod Nano is a great MP3, with long battery hours on Music and reasonably long with videos, The screen being of High quality for Images it is the best yet.

Like all Apple products it's intuitive, stylish and built to a very high quality spec.
I've been using it on the train to work and it's excellent for watching tv series. (I'm revisiting my entire box set of the Shield!)Commuting has become an absolute pleasure. Picture and sound are amazing and despite the size of the screen it's much easier to watch than you might think. There's some great extras such as the Itunes quiz and several other games as well as contacts ,calendars and photos that sync with your Mac. If the earphones don't do much for you - get some Griffin Ear Jams to clip on the buds. They're very cheap and very effective. My only complaint would be the lock switch is tiny and a bit fiddly. Overall - this is an incredible little gadget if you use it to it's full capability.

Rating: - Brilliant!
I just got this new iPod nano as my first iPod, and so far I'm very impressed! The thing really is amazingly tiny; I have to remember to grip it when I pick it up, it feels as if I'm holding a credit card. It's just a beautiful design.

The best thing I've found so far is the amazing quality of sound - I don't know if this is normal for iPods, but compared to a CD player or just an ordinary mp3, the clearness of the sound is unbelievable. I find myseld hearing completely new parts and layers in songs which I've listened to hundreds of times before.

All in all, I think the iPod nano is a great buy and well worth the price for all music and video fans.

Rating: - Good Looking, but that's about it.
Returning mine for a refund. Can't charge, frozen and stuck on apple logo. Great looking and ideal size not good when you can't do anything else with it tho. Doesn't reset and no longer recognised by my computer, so can't reset online to factory setting. What a let down. First time of buying an ipod and the last. Reading reviews on other sites this is a common problem.
Excellent customer service showed by amazon 5 stars for there customer service and commitment to there customers.
