Rating: - Temperature of water heated by Tefal Quick Cup
I purchased mine in September and returned it in March as the water produced was not hot enough. I had to warm my cup prior to use until I got fed up as you shouldn't have to do this. I sent an email to Tefal who advised me to return it for a replacement but I knew the new one would be the same so I asked for a refund.

Rating: - Tefal Quick Cup- Not So hot
I, like many others, was sold on the energy saving idea. Unfortunately, the product fails to deliver due to it's water temperature. The Quick Cup simply does not produce water at a high enough temperature to make a good cup of tea. This is not helped by the slow delivery of the water (I don't know where the 3-Second claim comes from) which means the water cools even more whilst in the air between machine and cup. The idea of filtered water at your fingertips is great. Unfortunately, I feel that most people like their filtered water chilled from the refrigerator. This would mean either using the Quick Cup to fill a jug and then placing it in the fridge or using previously chilled water to fill the Quick Cup. I feel the latter method would only mean that the Quick Cup would produce even cooler water when trying to make a cup of tea.

Once again, the overall idea is great, but I think that Tefal should drop the filtered cold water aspect as a selling point and concentrate on the hot water side only as I'm sure that it could be a great product with only a few tweaks.

Rating: - a good idea but not quite perfect
First of all, after reading the other reviews, i have to say i only drink coffee so i have no problems with the water temp.

Its a great idea and ideal for a cup/mug but if i was making coffee for a few people i would more than likely use the kettle. it is quick but the slow water stream means u have to stir as its filling and I have to hold the mug up because other wise is spits drops of coffee all over the place.

Hopefully the next model/s will take care of a lot of the problems

Rating: - Great gadget, not so good for HOT water!
Was persuaded to buy while shopping for a replacement kettle! Love the idea of energy saving. As a gadget this lived up to my expectations, but it doesn't produce really hot water, no good for brewing tea, ok for instant coffee if you drink it straight away or like it black. We measured temperature as the water came out of the spout and it reached only 75 degrees. Had to go out and buy a kettle too.

Rating: - Fed up of necking luke warm coffee
At first it seems great but then you start getting a bit fed up of having to gulp down every drink becuase they are on the virge of going cold as soon as you get them. Great idea - needs more work.
