Rating: - Great for Green Tea drinkers
If like me you drink a lot of green tea, whether it be Sencha, Houjicha, Gyokuru etc, then this is the kettle for you. Good quality green tea should be served between the 60 - 70 degree mark. This kettle out puts at 85 degrees, however if you add cold water you can get it to the 60 - 70 degree mark.

I haven't had any problems with mine and I have ordered one for my home and 2 for my two offices. I have even bought one for my mother.

My friend however, ordered one 2 weeks ago and it has broken...

If you want other more "english" tea, then this may not be the right device for you. I do not have any milk with my teas, so it stays hot for ages.

I'm very surprised this product has got so many bad reviews! Me & my boyfriend are avid tea drinkers and have no problem with this machine.
It's absolutely fantastic for making drinks during T.V advert breaks as there is no waiting for it to boil! It's a bit noisey but we are really pleased with it.

Rating: - We love it!
We recieved the quick cup today, and we love it! We have set it to our own prefered cup size and it couldn't be easier!

It does make a bit of noise, but its not bad at all. Although not boiling the water is certainly hot enough for coffee.

Would recomend this product to anyone!

Rating: - Replacement has also failed!
If this product was reliable, it would be brilliant. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have said, it needs to go back to the drawing board. The first one I had leaked, so I sent it back for a replacement. The second one stopped dispensing hot water yesterday. I tried again today, and nothing came out - it had fused. I replaced the fuse, and hot water ensued for all of 2 seconds, then went cold again. I gave up, and have just e-mailed Amazon for a return.
Update: I have received the replacement, and it is very temperamental. Sometimes it dispenses hot water: sometimes it doesn't. I'll give it a little longer, then I shall ask for my money back. And write to Tefal, who probably know all this anyway!!!
2nd update: the third one lasted less than a month, so its going back and I'm giving up.

What a shame! When it worked, it was brilliant. I kept a jug under the spout to prevent drips on the worktop, which jug I also used to fill the reservoir quickly without removing it. My husband did moan it wasn't hot enough for tea with milk, but he moans about everything . . .

Rating: - If you think this is a good product.... wait a month.
A few things about this product:

1) It sounds like a Chinook is flying over your house every time you make a drink
2) It really isn't for filling anything larger than a cup, in fact it takes an age to do that
3) After about 3 weeks you can quickcup your bare foot with no risk of any injury

It really does seem that this is a version 1.0 of a product that is great in concept, but obviously needed a lot more work before it hit the shops.
