I tried to find out wich languages were available (I speak french).

Unfortunately, "the gathering"(pilot) and "the lost thales" do not have french language/french subtitle.

except that little problem, everything is OK and you have a lot for your money.

Rating: - Bulky but worth it
i was surprised by how big the box was but when i opened it, it was like christmas and easter all came at once!, i bet some people would give their 4 limbs to get all the b5 movies, tv series and extras all at a bargin price of £67 through express and £10 VAT, moreover it arrived within a few hours of ordering it, and started playing it as soon as a arranged the dvd's into order.

The quality is as i expected it from 1990's, however it said that this version is digitally remastered, but i don't see any improvement to the sound or visual which i though was a little strange however, it does not matter though. but thanks to amazon it's something i can just watch and pull up the episode without any real problem.

Very enjoyable series, along with the G'Kar and Mollari relationship, very reminisent of Quark and Odo of Deep space 9, it's a brilliant plot throughout the entire series from Minor skirmishes between narn and centuari, a massive war between vorlons and the shadows, the babylon 5 freedom forces and Earth Alliance to the ISA and Drakh war. throughout the series you get to explore many personailites between the cast and the roles they play, you even get to see an episode where it's not based off any main character but rather two engineers who get to see more action then they would in 4 years anywhere else, it's similar to stargate SG1's attempt.

A must buy if you don't wish to collect the whole series and spending more money then you would do otherwise.

Rating: - I never knew i missed so much !!
This has to be the best purchase i have ever made...The story is breathtaking in its size and the time span it covers is just as impressive.
I remember sitting glued to the T.V. when it was shown and could never get enough as the shows seemed to fly. But what astounds me the most is the amount of detail and story lines i had forgotten...or missed.
Buy this set and you will be amazed at the number of sub-plots and character interaction that is worked into the episodes and films.
This truly is the "best of the best".....i`m off to watch it again.

Rating: - Series one disc one blues
Well I have always liked B5 and took the oppotunity to pick up the 5 series in one complete compact box.

It duly came and series 1 disc 1 episodes 3 and 4 were unplayable. I checked out the rest of the box and in a woefully short period of timwe watched the other 108 episodes crusades 13 and all the films.. even the aweful lost tales. Square eyes indeed.
I then contact Amazons Cust Serv. Please give me new disc1. NO. we will give u money back and you return. OR a whole new BOxed set. OH AND YOU HAVE TO POST BACK THE OTHER...what! WE WILL REFUND POSTAGE. Well new set came. Series 1 disc 1 episodes 3 and 4 are unplayable.!!!!!wtf!!!!.. ring up cust services... nice accented girl says WELL I CAN SEND ANOTHER ANOTHER SET AND YOU RETURN 2 SETS OR REFUND AND YOU RETURN 2

But all i want is 1 working disc 1. I am disabled. carying this stuff to post office is a pain.. well in fact imposible for me. Do they care . no. So I say just send me a set one which you do seperately. save you postage costs both way. Oh No cant do that have to send the entire set a third time. !! How can this make any sense for amazon... and is every one of this boxed set faulty.. looks like so far
