been looking forward 2 this album for a long time and was not dissapointed. first album was a grower but liked this instantly.

Well isn't it you who who should be banned from rating for rating something 1 just because others have rated it highly. Now it is you who has unfairly scewed the average for having a wig out... plonker. You can get the album many places you nim-wit. Listening to it right now a decent follow up and a 4 from me. Or should i give it 5! cus you gave it 1!?...nah u petty goon

Rating: - back, but is it better?
The album is pretty decent. Hasn't grabbed me as immediately as the first one but I have only given it 4 or 5 listens so far. Stand out tracks are see the sun, do you wanna, sway, stormy weather and shine on. i do like most of the tracks though. only tick of time hasn't really grabbed me so far! i'd recommend buying the album though for sure.

Ok, i loved the first album, listened to this new album Konk a few times, absolutely bores me rigid, seriously what happened? Go buy the Foals album and have some fun, this is pure tripe,

Rating: - A average album from the brilliant boys from Brighton!
Today, I had a listen through the whole of the kooks new album konk a few times over, as feel I cant base a review on a the basis of listening once, as it often takes a few listens over to get a feel for the album, now to why I gave it 3 stars, the reason simply, they couldnt possibly have come out with a album better than the first, and I am reviewing this compared to the average kooks caliber, its a really good album and I would definatly reccomend the purchase to any kooks fan, as me being a kooks fan Im really impressed by the album. I feel that there are too many people on here who review based on minimal, or if any listening giving false information to others, you cant review a album based on a single listen over, nor can you review it based on a couple of singles you may have heard, you need to listen to the whole album a few times and get a real appreciation for it. Many people think, 'Oh the Kooks are one of my favourite bands, instant 5 star rating for this album' but I feel that I might aswell be honest towards the quality of the album, it is a 3 star album in comparison to the amazing first star album, but that doesnt mean that I dont think it is good. Songs that really stand out to me are probably 'see the sun' , 'mr maker' , and 'tick of time' all really good songs, and all great in their own way, if you are sceptical about buying the album Id reccomend having a listen to those 3 first to get a feel for the new material the kooks have come out with. All in all this is a brilliant album from the brighton boys and a good follow up to the first album, I feel as a kooks fan I wasnt disappointed by this, it is a superb album, I dont however feel that it will be anywhere near as big a hit as what the first album was, but, I feel that the kooks great status will be maintained and I look forward to future albums from the band!
